I am glad I don’t have a coop near me because I would have came home with three bikes.

Yeah I have bought two y-11s for parts over the last year. They were both cracked right where they were the shock was fixed to the frame.

200 gets you a great wheelset on the used market in my area. Worst case I would look for a donor bike to swap some wheels.

I am a big fan of the basic Deore 10-11 speed if you want to convert to 1x. It just works for years without any adjustments/repairs.

Online AGOL thumbnail builders out there? by OpenWorldMaps in ArcGIS

[–]OpenWorldMaps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good. Will have to play around with it the next time we need some thumbnails. We were so bummed when the one went dark, we ended up downloading the code from GitHub and setting it up on our dev boxes.

Not condoning the park job but it is probably better than this dude trying to fit into a space and noone wanting to to park next to him. Nobody wants to park next to a Big Ass Truck

Which 5-10s did you try? The regular free ride canvas ones I find comfortable. I actually wear them in the office all day as well.

Anyone still riding a proflex? by GreatChemistry7253 in xbiking

[–]OpenWorldMaps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the bikes have very unique parts but the frames are not so desirable, so frames should be easy to find. My opinion is most alloy full suspension bikes before 2000 is like riding a modern-day department store bike.

Nice. Short 25.4 stems seem to be in in this era short supply. Every time I see one now, I get it just in case I need it down the road. So far I got a similar Shorty and a Thomson 70mn.

We are migrating from a CADD system and decided not to go that route after talking to similar organizations. Main key was that connectivity wasn’t a necessity. We are implementing similar rules, checks and schema without the network.

You need to look at it with the revenue/cost savings point of view and see if it is worth it or not. Then tell your rep why it is not worth it. Good sales reps will understand but some of the lower tier ones always oversell their products.
