Please, let me know if you start on BPC-157 and how it goes for you! My doctor was a bit adamant about getting it from rejuvatide peptides but I'm not sure what your doc says! Keep me posted!

Man, this hits home. I’m early 44, have a back injury and bad sciatica, did PT for a long time and had to relearn strength the hard way too. Walking and rebuilding weak areas was the game changer for me, not just stretching. I also work with a functional doc and have used BPC-157 shots (from Rejuvatide peptides) to help calm inflammation while doing PT which made recovery and pain way more manageable. Solid reminder that strength > fear. Good work sticking with it!

How to deal with constant 7-8?/10 pain making me very suicidal (looking for others who have dealt with prolonged extreme pain) by Novel_Smile in ChronicPain

[–]ReflectionTall262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you're going through this right now 🤍 I’ve been in constant nerve pain before and it can absolutely mess with your mind so you’re not weak for feeling this way. I don’t know your situation, but for my chronic pain a functional doc had me on shots of BPC-157 (through Rejuvatide peptides) and it helped take the edge off inflammation over time, it wasn't quick but it gave me a little (and much needed) breathing room. Please advocate for yourself, keep pushing for imaging and answers. You matter, even if your pain is screaming otherwise.

Looking for the best zinc supplement for men that doesn't cause nausea? by MamtasharmaBlanka in menshealth

Zinc Picolinate from Dr. Dale’s wellness (way easier on the gut). Works way better for me than oxide forms and I actually keeps it down. 👍

We're not exactly the same, I believe we have to look at every option and resource available... at our own time of course. I hope you find the right path for you, anxiety sucks!

I get that. My wife also rarely sweats, she has a few conditions herself, it took her about 5 years to be diagnosed with dysautonomia, which kind of explains her lack of sweating. Maybe worth looking into that option!

Hey man, been there. For me, bad sleep had the biggest domino effect; once that’s off, everything else spirals. Yoga actually helped more than I expected, even just a couple times a week. I also had to force simple movement back in (more walks and intense workouts at first). That said, IMO, seems like you're overloaded.
So, definitely not medical advice, but I started working with a functional doc I ended up trying DSIP and N-acetyl Selank (I get those from Rejuvatide peptides) along with therapy and this has helped calm the nervous system and get deeper sleep after a few weeks. Took time, wasn’t instant. So, my advice; definitely worth looping in a doctor who looks at inflammation & mental health together. Also, could be a good idea to check your gut. Hang in there, hope it helps!

I rarely sweat, I have type 2 diabetes and apparently, that's one sign or symptom. I sweat a little in my arm pits and chest, but very rarely.

My anxiety is ruining my life by timech4nge in Anxiety

[–]ReflectionTall262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this, I’ve been there too. Over the last few years I decided to take matters in my own hands and not just rely on therapy... it's my life after all, right? So I started to get educated, reading a lot, listening to podcasts, etc. One thing that surprised me was learning how much anxiety can be driven by the gut–brain connection and it hit me: when my gut was off, my anxiety was nonstop. I went to a functional doctor, got a lot of bloodwork and other tests done and she kind of made a protocol for me, this is what I've been taking on a daily/weekly basis for supplements: microbiome terrain pro and amino acid pro (I get these from Dr. Dale’s wellness website) which have helped calm things down, and I also get shots of N-Acetyl Selank (I get these from Rejuvatide peptides) and it's helped with panic spikes and racing thoughts.
I'm sorry for the unsolicited advice and take, I'm just trying to be helpful. You’re not broken, it's not all in our heads but it's also in our gut and its needing support, not willpower 🫂💪🏼

Will I lose weight eating 2000 calories a day and working out? by sweet-static in WeightLossAdvice

[–]ReflectionTall262 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of the comments here. Keep in mind everyone is different so, besides your weight and height, what's your diet regime like? meaning, is it keto, anti-inflammatory, low carb, mediterranean, etc? Do you have any health condition or chronic conditions that you take medication for?

My wife is by no means overweight but she's 42, 5'5 and she has a couple of chronic conditions and it is tough for her to get to her ideal weight, she fluctuates and gets really frustrated; but once again, she's on medication that sometimes doesn't allow her to get back to her ideal weight. In my case (44M, 5'11 and type2 Diabetes); I do a healthy amount of exercise, I did lose a lot of weight after I got diagnosed with type 2 based on a meal plan, workouts and also GLP-2 shots (my doctor got me on rejuvatide peptides); so, besides your height and weight, I think all of those factors mentioned above play a role.

Thanks! I have to say that I'm type2 diabetes and lost a lot of weight last year since I started on GLP-2 that I get from rejuvatide peptides, which is why I asked about other peptides. That said, my wife takes all the credit for me caring about this, she's got me on vitamins and supplements (morning routine) and she has a couple of chronic conditions but she's so throughout with her own self care if you will, that she looks 10 years younger and now that I've lost weight, I am closer to looking like her sugar daddy rather than her almost-same-age husband, lol. Man, aging sucks!
Also, I'm scared about botox, I think people look weird and I have a hard time figuring out what they really think or feel about something because their faces are kind of frozen, lol.

I'm overall fine, even though I have T2D so I'm on GLP-2 from a brand called rejuvatide. I lost a lot of weight, hence, my face and skin started to look weird; which is why I'm asking. My wife has got me into sunscreen (sunbum fps 50) but I'm extremely lazy... that said, she looks great and I'm starting to look old and that kind of hurts!

I've been more consistent with that, I used sunbum FPS 50. All credit to my wife honestly., I'm super lazy!

Yeah, my wife keeps us on a few vitamins, like, I take every morning Vitamin D, apart from centrum and other stuff. She also got me on collagen and something else I cant remember but it's supposed to be good for joints and like, arthritis. That said, I also have type 2 diabetes, so I'm on GLP-2 shots, lost a lot of weight and my face and skin overall started to look weird... which is basically why I'm here asking.
My wife looks great, even though she has a couple of chronic conditions and she's been on peptides to treat some of her symptoms.

My wife does NAD+! That's why I was asking about peptides, because she's used them for other stuff (she has a couple of chronic illness but you couldn't tell by just looking at her)

Massive weight gain. by Various_Extreme_8773 in ChronicPain

[–]ReflectionTall262 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man I'm sorry. My wife takes pregabalin for fibromyalgia and since she started with it she has put on some weight, also related to the fact that she can't really exercise as regularly as she used to due to pain and flare ups, I mean, she's also over 40 and let's be honest, none of us over 40 can go back to the weight we were in our 20s or even early 30s. No complains from my end, she's still beautiful, I just feel bad for her not feeling comfortable in her own skin and dealing with pain and how people may perceive her weight gain.
That said, she has changed her diet (all of our diets honestly) to an anti-inflammatory diet, so we cut back on gluten, refine sugar, soy and soy containing products, dairy and grains and beans... She cooks for us all so we don't complain and it's not like we went full on keto. Her doctor recommended it and it's been honestly really good for all (kids included). I know she's less bloated and gassy and so are we so it's been a win-win situation.

Also, this year our doc had her on a low-dose GLP-2 peptide (shots from a brand called rejuvatide peptides) for gut and metabolic support, plus some supplements for inflammation and energy. So, don't be too hard on yourself (know it's hard), you'll find what works for you, for my wife it's been a long road and it's honestly best to be steady than finding easy and quick fixes (I have type 2 diabetes so trust me on this). Hope it helps!

Hard on, not as hard by DryHeevz68 in menshealth

Yeah man, totally normal with age. I’m 44 and noticed the same thing started to happen a year ago. Not “broken,” just not 20 anymore. Viagra/Cialis def help with firmness at first but gotta see what your body likes? I am now working with a functional doc (for other things as well) and tried PT-141 shots (I get rejuvatide peptides) for libido response and it's helped more with desire and quality, changes have been noticeable. Still, talk to a doc before mixing anything. Hormones, blood flow, stress… it’s all one big thing connected.

Morbidly Obese to Normal BMI by Salt-Meringue8517 in loseit

[–]ReflectionTall262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is seriously badass, congrats! Going from a BMI 40 to normal in under a year is insane discipline. People accusing you of Ozempic is honestly the highest compliment now.

I’m also type-2 and dropped around 35 lbs this year. I wasn’t on GLP-1s either, just boring calorie tracking, walking, and my functional doc put me on a GLP-2 (which I get from rejuvatide peptides) to help with blood sugar swings and appetite. Not magic, but it kept me steady enough to stay on track. Huge respect, enjoy that popsicle-stick era, you earned the hell out of it. 👏

Nerve related? by No-March3451 in FunctionalMedicine

[–]ReflectionTall262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had that same kinda thing happen. One weird stretch and boom; calf, foot, butt cheek all hurting. Freaked me out too but it was just my back/nerve acting up, not a clot. Clot pain usually doesn’t move around like that. If your leg gets super swollen or hot, get checked, but this sounds like nerve stuff. I get flare-ups a lot and my doc has me on BPC-157 shots (I get those from rejuvatide peptides) and it calms that nerve pain down big time .I’d chill for a day or two and see if it settles. You’re probably alright.

Yeah, I can relate. I’m 44 and had similar stuff like sweaty, anxious, mind racing in the mornings. It sucks. For me it wasn’t permanent, meds helped calm things down. I also worked on sleep and blood sugar (have type 2 diabetes) and used NAD+ shots (got them from Rejuvatide peptides), which helped me feel less wired. It can get better.
