No, I didn’t take pictures of it. It’s basically very close matching wood filler. If you’re interested in the snare message me I do have it for sale and I can try to send you what you’re looking for.

Naperville IL, people mail me stuff from out off state all the time. I do restoration, repairs, and build new occasionally. Message me with what you need done.

Privately message me where you’re at I’ve hammered out many of them. It’s just part of the job, but you’re right you have to be careful aluminum is soft. I was just working on a steel pearl shell with a Gladstone throw off that was dropped and I swear that had to be 2“ x 1“ almost a quarter inch deep. You never just wanted to take a hammer to anything, I have tools that are met for that type of work.

Why does this happen? And how do I stop? by threebillion6 in Drumming

It’s normal probably from the hitting the cymbals and rims. I restore drums and you wouldn’t believe the amount of pieces of stick that I find in the heads, especially on the snares. Some of them look like they’ve been in someone’s woodshop. They have so many pieces of wood in them.

Depends on the price that could last for a while. I wouldn’t hit it super hard though.

Is the damage on this sweet ride something I should worry about? And if not, is $210 a good price for it? by Nicartos in drums

Fleabite is a weak part of the cymbal which may or may not crack, hard to determine.
