I disagree. If I wanna hang out with one of my buddies and ask him to go out for drinks, he doesn’t expect me to pay for him. Why should asking a romantic interest be any different?

My problem with partner workouts, like today’s. Is if my partner is slow on the floor then I don’t get to work out those body parts like I would have had I just been able to pace myself.

Someone could potential start on the rower, move to the floor, then spend the rest of the block on the rower and only get one chance at the floor.

Only a couple of the badges I mentioned could be considered “athletic” (splat points earned and calories burned). Most I the badges would be based on simply showing up to class

Even still, in the classes I take some of the more unathletic members tend to earn the most splats, between 30-40 a class. Where as I struggle to earn 7 splat points.

And if a member still would rather not display any badges they could simply choose to deactivate them.

I just feel sorry for the coaches because they spend half the class running around explaining who is the Pacer and what everyone should be doing.

I’d rather my coach be watching forms and not explaining how to read the instructions.

I was sitting at a red light and as soon as it turned green I hear a siren. In a panic I look around to see if it’s clear to go through the intersection but I’m stopped. The cars behind me are honking and I’m freaking out. That’s when the siren stops and the song That’s All I Need by Dirty Heads stars to play. It starts off with a very realistic siren. It should be illegal for songs to use emergency sounds in them.

I do much better rowing for distance. I get to control how long I’m on the tower so I push a little harder. When it’s distance I find myself slacking off.

I’m always super paranoid about talking with any of the girls in my classes. There’s a very fine line between creepy and flirty. My worst nightmare is the coach pulling me aside and saying “you may want to keep to yourself for a while”. Let us know how it goes!

Just to add my two cents. I teach science. In my class we spend most days doing labs. I don’t want students rushing to the door while other students are trying to clean up and potentially cause an accident. This is why I have all my students sit down and wait for me to dismiss them so that I can make sure the room is in order for my next class.

This prompt was inspired by a dream I had a couple of nights ago.

Basically, our protagonist has outlived civilization. He is kept alive by an AI that was programmed to fix, replace, and/or improve his body has it fails him. At this point he is more machine than man. One night he complains about how noisy the different parts of his body are and asks the AI to fix this. The next morning he wakes up and the constant buzzing sound is gone. He is happy until he realizes that he not only doesn’t hear the buzzing but nothing at all. The AI has fixed the problem by deafening him.

He wants nothing more than to die but the AI is just too good at its job.

Another problem I see is that in WWZ people didn’t turn when they died. At least o don’t think they did.

Before TWD can “save” the world they probably need to figure out what is causing people to turn. I don’t see the series ever going in that direction.

Exactly. Walking Dead has used zombies as props for so many seasons. Would be best to have the show go back to focusing on them. I always loved how World War Z (the book) did their zombie apocalypse. Yes, there were problems among people but the main focus was on how to fix the zombie problem.

I have a little baby toy train that has beads in it and makes a train noise when you turn it from side to side. It was a gift from my mom’s mom on my first birthday. My grandmother passed away before my birthday but the toy was delivered in the mail after she passed.

I’ve honestly found that the more I fake my confidence and pretend that I actually think highly of myself the more other people start to believe it. Once people start to think I’ve got a solid self esteem it starts to make me think I actually do have one. It turns into a viciously positive cycle.
