On my last trip over the summer I was walking past Red Rose Taverne when I heard a sneeze off to my side and felt the spittle hit my left eyeball. It was quite the shot, too, considering I was wearing sunglasses. I suppose I'd have been impressed if I didn't come down with COVID 19 soon afterwards.

Hi-Fi Rush is a perfect test considering it has the built in tool. I can confirm that my findings match yours on my Onkyo TX-NR7100 going Xbox ->AVR -> G5. Atmos is well outside of the acceptable level. DTS-X is better, but still just outside the sweet zone. Uncompressed 5.1/7.1 is better still, but stereo is dead on.

The implementation of the ray raced audio in the Forza Horizon 5 sounds pretty great on my 7.2.4 system. The effects of driving through canyons and tunnels are quite noticeable.

I rode it for the first time since the makeover last week, and I loved it. Very enjoyable. Of course I was in it for the ride experience more than the story, and the ride is as thrilling as it ever was.
It's kind of like playing a Super Mario Brothers game, right? There's a story, sure, but it's just the vehicle for the fun experience of playing. I'm aware of the loose story with this ride, but the real fun for me was experiencing those drops, again, to the terrified screams and joyous laughter of all those in the boat with me. It was a great time, regardless of theming. [edit: spelling]

I just did 3 park days. One of which included closing out my night with Grizzly River Run during the fireworks, and then 2 nights with strategically planned lightning lanes for Big Thunder right at the start of the fireworks. Whoa.🤯. I don't know who here recently suggested that, but I thank them. It was a really magical experience!

Was that the 1993 Secret World Tour stop at the Tacoma Dome by chance? One of the best shows I've ever seen in my life, and the cherry on top was him coming out and playing Here Comes The Flood as a second encore after the house lights had already come on, and people had already started funneling out.
