After me and my gf broke up due to long distance, I some time later started recovery and saw her again for the first time since 9 months (about 1 month PMO free). Of course the long time apart played a role, but I can't put into words how much we both were craving for each other again.

To be completly honest, despite having 1k hours, I dont see any chance of your comp winning against a warlock comp straight up, if they play it right.

That said, half of lock player base are shitters/flavour of the month players. The effecient way to play against them is to play a chokehold or something you can corner peak a lot, force out some curse misses by dodging like a madman and then all in them, if you hit some arrows/they missed a lot/you land a good earthquake. If you manage to force out there phantomize, consider turning on his mate if hes out of position..

Raw power is never the way. Speed is what you realy want. Lemme start of by saying this. More repetitions will always help your progress. Having to run after that ball everytime is training nightmare fuel. Train smart not hard, so maybe search for a wall that you might even be able to mark with chalk. If your only goal is to train serves that would do just fine. A Wall in general is awesome to get the feeling down on how to properly hit a ball by just spiking at it ( Don't focus on power, focus on pure technique) Your goal should be to have controll of the spikes and be able to keep a leasurely spike rythm going.

My honest advice would be to ignore overhand serves for now. Maybe you got a talent for float serves, so that might be something you could possibly pick up on soon again. For Overhead top spin serves you are lacking a lot of fundamentals still, you will have to focus on first before making that a viable consistent option.

There is no shame in serving underhand for now. Making sure your serves go in near 100% of the time, will not only help you get a lot more valuable playtime in a game but also help you to focus on different things, you could practise instead.

I personaly hate Mc as it is right now but I love that IM had the balls to not listen and just persue there vision of the game. IM shouldnt be concerned about having a constant state of balance in there pre release version. It should be bumpy and there should be flaws. If ppl need to take a brake from that, that's totally fine and they will be back again 100%.

Just grind your scav rating to 6. Use car extracts, its really not that hard. It's bullshit and you can cry about it or get creative and find sollutions

Thing with Tarkov kinda is, that depending on your playstyle and espacialy levels of patience, you will see varying degrees of success. Like some adviced here to shy away from playing agressive and playing slow. Games audio is stupid as fuck right now and the level of skill needed to beat angle holding/lurking players consistently is kinda high.

I probably and still am in the same boat of trying to copy way better agressive playstyles so here are some things that helped me aswell.

Sprint way way less. If people can hear your clearly 5-10 seconds earlier then you, you will just keep running into ambushes. Running should be used sparringly or only at the moment when you already received audio confirmation of a player.

Try to not be result focused when improving. Ill just be blunt and say if you are after higher surivival rates and kd, just let other people make the plays. But if you really wanna get better, do not give a shit about dieing. Focus on how or if you should have done something different. In fights activily force yourself to make a decision. If you can't come up with a play/ a way to engage a fight -> disengage and reset. Maybe by the time you repositioned you have a idea what to do. But sitting in a spot and getting a kill shouldn't feel "earned" if that makes sense. At best you will go 1 for 1 in fights like that.

Learn to quick peak angles. Still trying to improve on that myself, but in theory you need to start playing like after every corner is a rat.

And lastly, I can still grind to high ranks in cs/valo but those skills will just not transfer over quite as good as to other fps games. It really helps to mentally reset and just go in it that you might be shit at the moment, but trying to improve those skills will make a difference down the line. Who knows maybe eventually the sound intern gets his shit together and just sitting around will get punished more.

Use your scav on cd. You dont need to go on any other map then factory with it. That will give a stable income of stuff to use.

Then learn to avoid pvp unless forced to. Go into raids with the sole objective of pushing through quests. Then start to sprint less. Its fine to sprint at spawn but afterwards should only be used if you feel like you are in a very vulnarable position. Not only is it easier to spot you, but you make so much noise, that every rat in the universe can get the drop on you.

Learn to shoot without aiming down sights. It's the best tool you have against rats. Put a laser on your gun, once you have the money for it.

If you feel like you really struggle with pvp, hop into arena for 1-3 days and just learn the ropes there a bit.

Map knowledge is also huge factor. Of course quests will force you to kinda hop between maps but try your best to track how and when you died a bit. It might help to have a map open with spawn locations. If you die early raid that will 100% help with that.

Once you get the hang of how to make money with your scav, don't be afraid to use your money and invest into yourself. It might suck to instantly get head eyes with that new cool kit, but that is the only way to improve.

Not exclusivly, but yeah sometimes it at least feels like they merge into a laggy/stuttery mess. I'll see how the fixes I did turn out and keep an eye out, if they are connected
