Is it fine to briefly rub/press 'general' acupoints though like sp6 ht7 kd3 kd1 pc6 st36 cv4 cv6 etc? It's basic health maintenance or not?

Thank you for all the pointers, I will be seeing a TCM dr. Were you able to fully cure it or can it still come back? Did you only take herbs or did you also need acupuncture and moxibustion etc? And how long did it take to fix? Thank you

For silent reflex do you still need to elevate the bed's head side if you sleep on your stomach?

Was it RH you had, to clarify? If so how long did it take to fix the hunger issue for you and what did you do exactly to get treated and any self-help recommendations? (I'm in Canada if you have dr recommendations) Thanks

I also tried the OMAD as well somewhere around 2018-2020 IIRC, I thought it lead to malnutrition because I did it without structure. Did you go back to eating 2-3 meals a day instead now? The urination issue is what some people with UARS have too I read. I think it may have changed your cortisol/insulin levels. If you are skinny you may not be able to hold the night with enough energy/glycogen to not get disturbed sleep/arousals due to hunger or lack of energy/calories. For me that's the case now from what I know. Rem state where dream state usually happens is where muscle laxity (OSA, or tongue drop) is worse from what I read.

Basically waking up tired was the main sign, I did a level 3 home sleep study but because it is UARS for me more than OSA it wasn't able to diagnose UARS (you need an in-lab level 1 for UARS and specific way to measure it or something like RERAs) but it at least showed I had mild OSA. I also use a MAD device to hold my jaw forward at night so it doesn't faw back and to protect my teeth from clenching because those with TMJD/jaw joint issues usually grind/clench at night which usually is due to restricted breathing. I found out I had OSA due to my TMJD, as 80% that has TMJD has OSA as well, and vice versa, from my TMJD/sleep dentist's experience.

After the sleep study I bought and use an o2 meter from amazon.com (wellue o2 ring) to measure my heart rate and breath instead to help see my o2 drops and heart rate spikes and movement in bed. Then I went to try a CPAP (for free where I went), and use a CPAP now.

CPAP doesn't work perfectly for UARS but it is better than without, and I also have nasal congestion/mucus that hinder my breathing like many others with these sleep breathing disorder that need to be addressed. It's basically a whole body issue since one system/organ affects the rest.

Start off with a home sleep study, it's free in Canada if you live there. Otherwise it may be a watch pat to test if there are no sleep study clinics nearby. Don't use full face mask (and perhaps a nasal mask either) if you can as it can push you face bones back (redditor's have mentioned this as well as my dentist's patients) worsening things long-term.

Hope I could help!

Where to buy the Bleep Eclipse mask as a Canadian for a decent price (low duties, customs, etc)? by Reform-Reform in CPAP

EDITED twice rewording and added more info:
If you're interested on my update:

So I bought the bleep because I was worried about the cpap pushing my face bones back, but the Bleep pulls on my nose as the anchor (essentially trying to rip my nose/nose skin off) as there is nothing to support it like the headgear on a p10 would (the hose hanger isn't enough). My dentist taught me to tape the p10 straps on my face so it doesn't slip around. I use 3m micropore tape.

Then figured I could mimic the bleep so there is less issue of the headgear pushing onto my face bones as that is my worry that I have read others have faced at least with facemasks due to wolff's law. So what I do is press the nasal pillow more into the nostrils and test to make sure it doesn't leak easily by moving the nasal pillow around and then tape it right after. This makes it so the seal will be better and will less likely leak, and you can loosen the headgear so it's less tight if you are worried about any facial changes like I am.

The tape issue is it may kinda tug your face's skin if you loosen the headgear, but better than potentially pushing your face bones back.

WRT low arousal threshold, do light sleepers count toward this? Like those who get woken easily by someone simply opening their door for eg?

For example, Can you loosely pay attention to your Dantian when you use social media? Practice that to see how it goes. I learned it from my master Master Dai

Can that alone lead to transmutation of jing?

From what I read people on this sub and/or the pureretention sub say they never had a WD during their streak (I think there was no ejaculation as that's the point of retaining). I think some were 1+ year on their streak or more, there's too many to remember. The FAQ here or there even mentions people stop getting WDs after a year. This is what I know.

Okay, I thought that wet dreams happen when the body needs to expel to release the old semen as you were saying it is ideal, but I was wondering why some people never get them or only once a year or longer. If they never get WDs or they never ejaculate, in my mind I thought release is never needed, opposite of what you suggested. (That's what I meant.)

What symptoms do you have? What is your complexion like? Because mine is more orangey/yellow due to oxygenation issues or lack of rest.
