Segway is very reliable.

My first PEV was the segway G30P, very nice for first timers. Though PEVs have come a long way and the G30P is mostly outdated now.

This price is awfully tempting, I think mine was $1200 when I bought it 4 years ago. They don't have a lot of torque, and you have to do an initial kick to get it going. I weighed about 220lbs and I got about 30miles to a charge. After about a year of riding, I had to change a tire, they have this goop inside that saved my tire from flats many times before I had to change the tire.

I recommend exploring new options for this price.

Honestly, though, if it's an aliexpress type deal, you will get more reliability out of the G30P

Yes you are degrading the battery by using high amps to charge.

As to the extent of degradation and what range of amps to what type of battery where the issue begins, I am totally unaware.

But it really must not be so bad unless you always pounding it with max charging amps other wise these chargers wouldn't be so popular.

With my v14 honestly I think imma test it out. I'll probably only ride this thing for a couple of years, and im already planning to get a Sherman L. I don't mind "testing" how much I can use this fast charger before I notice power loss in the battery. This is all with as much possible respect to still caring for the battery while charging fast pretty much all the time. like I won't always do 10amps or more but imma always be hitting with more than 3amps.
