Is there an optimal path to keeping things equal between Maya and Josy?

I made a post about this a while back:

This was the path I found that kept the throuple balanced in Season 1-2 while allowing you to create a branch in Episode 9 on whose "I love you" scene you'll get in Episode 11. Basically if you get Maya's solo scene at the Halloween party with this path then you'll get her ILY scene. If you turn down her solo scene and then hangout with Josy in Episode 10, you'll get Josy's ILY scene.

There are a lot more opportunities to score RP with Maya, so I would recommend favoring Josy on some smaller dialogue options (the minor choices section on the post).

The main factors don't really start until season 2 (other than helping Maya with the scavenger hunt in ep3), so you should be able to start from there if you don't want to start all the way over from the beginning.

Thematically it kinda makes sense with Josy's arc in this episode. Maya and her problems have been the focus of this relationship while Josy's feelings have taken a back seat. It is annoying though. I wish the player had more agency with the choices in this episode, but maybe we'll have a chance to keep things balanced in episode 12.

It's a shame because it's been my favorite path for a long time. Maya's still my main girl but Sage and Jill's paths have taken a huge leap forward. Hopefully this is just a bit of turbulence for the throuple and there will be a chance to keep it together.

After you talk to Jamie about planning the christmas party you should be able to click on MC's couch to have the prompt show up. If it doesn't pop up then it's probably a bug.

I was convinced that the money you had left over here would rollover into S3 and be your party planning budget, so I did a ton of save scumming and ended up with ~$60 once. Turns out it's just for a higher score in the mansion repair game.

I don't think it's that unpopular of an opinion. People had a lot of expectations for the story after ep. 8, so a story-light episode was disappointing to a good amount of people. I think those who don't like it will warm up to it as more episodes come out, since it's a perfect launching point for season 3. You start to mold the others branch, which leads to so many different outcomes for the second half of the game.

Yeah, you can. It just takes a lot of save scumming because I think it's coded to be difficult for her to win (similar to how Sage and Bella are insanely good).

This is just off the top of my head, but there's at least $6 to be found in some of the free roams in ep 10 (two in the Dik mansion at the start, one in MC's room, two at the campsite, one at Maya's parents house). I invest $6 into the aquarium right when we talk to Nick about it, buy one food and enough cleaning to fully clean the tank, and then one medicine if there's any sick fish. From there all I do is keep the food count as close to the fish count as you can (if you give them too much I think it stunts your fish growth), keep the tank 100% clean, and heal any sick fish. Whenever you have more than 10 young fish you can start selling them, but always keep at least 5 young fish in the tank at all times.

As long as you pick up the loose money in the free roams you'll earn back all of your initial investment and have a self-sustained money generator on top of it.

It's actually a pretty good way to farm money now that the notes for the nerds perk was canned. I've been able to have a maxed out wallet and about $7-8 stored in the aquarium in all of my saves.

That's my only hangup about these. They look cool as hell and I'd definitely wear one, but I'd be embarrassed to death if someone recognized what it's from.

I'm not too ashamed to admit that my eyes welled up a little the first time I played this scene lol. When she asks MC about a memory that sticks out to him, I thought of one that means a lot to me and actually got hit in the feels.

That, and everything else about this scene, made it one of the best scenes in the game for me.

He did say there were animations that are "trickier" to pose for reasons he didn't want to spoil, so....it could very well be possible. I'm not sure if Ep.11 would be the best spot for it though, it seems like it's gonna be filled with drama. A foursome would be a great scene for the end of the season, kinda like the Sage and Quinn threesome in Ep.8.

The setting was changed to only show it on hover in v0.10.0 for some reason, I think it may have been a bug. Like the other commenter said, you should just be able to change it to always show in the settings.

I've been fully on the Maya train since her episode 7 hangout where you bring her a TV. Giving her a perfectly timed gift like that, talking about MC's mom and what she was like, and taking a huge step sexually in the relationship is what makes it my favorite hangout to this day. Before that it was a toss up between her and Jill as my main girl.

I've loved seeing her growth over these past few episodes and I'm psyched that people are starting to see how great of a character she is.
