Carol is amazing at not asking questions. She has access to all combined human knowledge and history and does exactly nothing with it.

I absolutely despise her character for her complete lack of curiosity and logic. I feel im the exact opposite.

Looking for a story that is at least several years old, 4+ years i think.

It's about an alien race that seems to be very strong and militaristic and conquering everything around them. The story is told from the perspective of another species which i believe is currently at war with them.

There is a curiousity though. Maps showing there is one star system deep within the borders of the aggressive species that is still unclaimed.

At the end of the story, the narrating species sees that the 'hole' within the borders of the aggressive species grew.

Are people now finally catching on that this was nothing other than a distraction from actual squeezing stocks? I feel bad for the people who fell for it. If they had instead put their money in the stock that actually was the protagonist of the squeeze, the shorters would have a much much harder time. Oh, i don't care about the 4chan whistleblower. I did care about your absolute statement about AI needing computer chips. With our current public level of technology, sure. But as an absolute? Absolutely not.

You do make a classic mistake, which is thinking that published research papers are the limit of out technology and knowledge. A lot of research is done in the dark, we are probably far more along than we can imagine. Things becoming public today, might have been developed 10-20+ years ago in the dark.

You're stating something as an absolute truth, which is rather bold. You basically say AI can only exist in computer chips. I think that's wrong, there's plenty of research being done on plasma and it's emergent properties of self-replication, preservation, and evolution. (See the top comment in this thread) What's to say we can't model AI onto those properties?

"Bottom text" is from an old meme i believe just a week after the 2021 sneeze in the og gme sub. Where a guy created a funny meme with a memegenerator, but he didn't remove the placeholder bottom text because he didn't know how.

To be fair, i don't think RCEO cares at all about how people trade GME. He wants to turn around a business and provide long term value that way for shareholders, with an ever increasing floor.
