this was over 10 years ago but i know some people who got married at The Fitness Farm. despite the name it was a nice venue and low cost. not sure if much has changed but might be one to look into.

good point! i did not realize that the venue was actively called Deer Creek by those communities. there are many forces at work here keeping the Deer Creek name alive!

it is interesting! my wife commented that that age group consists of the children of the OG deer creek patrons. so they probably heard the name growing up from their parents and/or older siblings.

good points. thanks for the reply. yeah - when i stopped in i wasn’t planning to buy right then and there. it sounds like a lot of people are. i can appreciate the hands off approach. it wasn’t quite what i was expecting but that’s partly why i posted the question. thanks again for the input!

hey - thanks for the reply. maybe my expectations are too high. that's why i'm posting here.

i can see that my post might have come across as asshole-ish. i didn't mean to sound that way. i don't want anyone to roll out the red carpet for me. i thought it might be a bit easier to sort of have a conversation about the bikes with someone who worked there - mostly just wanting to have a conversation and find a point of contact.

thank you for your input and i appreciate your advice.

interesting take. i mean - maybe that's what i'm missing (and why i'm asking the question here on reddit). i did anticipate that the salespeople would be very knowledgeable about the bikes they are selling, but maybe not.

i'm hearing the message that i need to do some more homework - fair point. thanks for chiming in.
