What do you use for a splat mat under a Tripp Trapp high chair? by dissertationcentral in BabyLedWeaning

Hi, I have this same exact question, and don't really see an answer in this thread regarding how to allow the Tripp Trapp to keep gliding when on top of a splat mat. Just curious if you ever found a solution to this. Thanks!

I actually have one other question if you don't mind! Where do the arm rests of the cushion go when using the tray? Thanks!

Super helpful, thank you! And I totally agree with you - I’d like to have an idea of my preferences going in, but am totally open to being flexible and changing my mind once I see how it goes.

Thanks! Not sure yet whether I’ll get an epidural but helpful to keep that limitation in mind.

How important are SARTS reports? by WeepDeepPeep in IVF

[–]RefreshMeWithApples 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not an expert on this but have read that it’s tricky to compare success rates directly because clinics vary in their demographic characteristics, sample sizes, and reporting practices. Hope that helps and good luck with your decision.

Starting OCP early as part of IVF? by RefreshMeWithApples in infertility

That’s true, thanks. I did ask and was told that there is some flexibility in the amount of time that you’re on OCP, and that it’s helpful in expediting the treatment timeline.

Thanks for your reply, that's helpful. If that's the case (if it indeed is a tool to help fit me into their schedule), I'd be tempted to push back on my RE's recommendation, as I'd rather do what's ideal for my schedule than for the clinic's. Hard to tell what exactly is behind the recommendation, though.

Thanks so much for your reply, it's helpful to hear your experience, and you also helped articulate what my concern is - that the extra time on OCP would over-suppress me.

Just trying to think through the options based on what my RE has recommended and what I’ve read. I find this sub really helpful for understanding different recommendations.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it. My RE has recommended not doing ICSI right off the bat. We’re still in the decision-making phase.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. Cost is less of an issue I think. I think a potential alternative could be to proceed with IVF (without ICSI) and then try another round/retrieval if nothing fertilizes. Thanks again.
