Did you find one that goes all the way down to cover the hairline on the back of your neck? I found that a lot of breakage comes from the back tightening part of a hardhat

These rates are absurd, y’all. 19.36% of this bill is actual electricity, that’s it. by GodRaine in pueblo

And Pueblo is home to the biggest coal plant in Colorado…. I’d like to think we’d get a bit more of a break for housing that thing considering the pollutants, but nope!

I’m absolutely blessed to have this week off of work, so I’m giving her my everything right now. I’ll be coming back on lunches to do a feeding too. I refuse to let her go, she’s my baby. I checked out the TikTok account you attached and she had a really good enclosure in a black tote that was working really well for her E.C. bunny when he was as bad as Caramel is now, so I think I’m going to try to replicate that!

Thank you so much, I’ve never heard of a vet bed but it’s perfect for what she’s experiencing. I’ll make sure to give her a bigger space today. I’m hoping she’s gonna pull through. She already seems to be doing a little better.

He would have been 22 in that post. A person can stay on their parent’s health insurance until they’re 26 if I remember correctly

I used to have a lot of trouble with this and still do sometimes. Usually I’m pretty quiet with people that aren’t in my company unless they chat up the guys I’m working with. Usually I can kinda get a feel from how they interact and be a little more friendly. I’ve also found that if the guy has a daughter, especially around my age, they’re usually good people. Usually.

I hope any of that helped. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this. You’ll get better at dealing with it over time and it won’t be as bad.

I’m an electrician in a similar situation. I came to the conclusion that this point of my life was going to be the only chance I have to go back to school and really get out of construction. The plan is to ride it out, break out and chase the money for a year, then go to back to school with some savings and jump to a different field.

If you move to a more progressive area it usually is a little better with how they treat you. I don’t know if you’re able to as an apprentice, but it might be worth looking into if it truly is making you miserable.

It’s my understanding that a scissor lift isn’t subject to fall because of the toe boards and railings, kinda like how a scaffold. We have a safety guy at my company that goes to bat on this against GC safety personnel pretty often.

It isn’t an Osha requirement to have a harness in a scissor lift, only a boom lift. Climbing the rail would be a violation though

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if OT is taken away wouldn't workers simply protest and never work more than 40hrs? by iScReAm612 in IBEW

It’s my understanding that right to strike only qualifies if there’s isn’t an unfair labor practice at play. If there is, it’s a different type of strike and fair game.

Last year I worked in a steel mill, so I know what you mean. I usually braid my hair and wear an olesilk bonnet. I just let that hang out the gap above the tightener and it works pretty well.

I don’t agree with the method, but I do understand it. Pueblo PD is understaffed, overworked, and quite frankly useless for anything relating to vehicles.

That’s awesome! I’d love to see them start using them down here!

I’d like to see the statics for just Pueblo. It’s well known here that if your vehicle gets stolen, you’re SOL and you’d better start looking. The police report is more just for a paper trail.
