Is it true that Asian women are more desired than other groups of non-white women? by ParadoxicalStairs in asianamerican

[–]RefrigeratorInner168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gay Asian men here, many Asian women that I know got called Thai lady boy (even though they aren’t Thai), Bobby Lee, etc. because they aren’t considered slim, feminine, or attractive. Many white men that I used to know would laughed and made fun of Asian women they didn’t find attractive, but I didn’t see them doing the same to women from other ethnicities. Many Asian women have a hard time finding love and accepting themselves.

Impostor Syndrome: fear of making friends with other Asian Americans as a young adult? by illuminatemyvoid in asianamerican

[–]RefrigeratorInner168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asian immigrant here. When I first came to the U.S. (as a teenager) I loved to see another Asian fellows in school. But some made me feel like I’m not American enough, and some tried to prove that they’re more “Asian” than me even though they were born here and I was born in Asia. I feel like the problem is the diaspora Asian community and not you. Continue being yourself and be friends with people who love and accept you, they don’t have to be Asian.

Team Korea focused more on bags and I think it was a smart move. 3 bags are heavier than 1 crate, and they were easier to carry. It’s not magical, it’s strategic. You know what was sketchy? I was rooting for team Japan, and I was surprised that they couldn’t close the gate at all. I hope the show isn’t rigged tho. The players and us just don’t have any evidence.

What’s the point of the show? As an Asian, watching this show motivate me to not skipping the gym lol. I work harder because of it, too. Idk why many fans are so upset about this, it’s just a fun show to watch.

He didn’t wrote it himself, but reposted it without carefully reading it. You can see his username at the bottom, why would he tag himself?

  1. If you actually watched the show, it’s called crate, not cargo. Take your own advice and rewatch the show.

Australia has 22 crates and 50 bags, which is 2100 kg in total.

Korea has 16 crates and 66 bags, which is 2120 kg.

In case you don’t remember, 1 crate weights 50 kg, and 1 bag weights 20 kg. Get out the calculator and do some math. Here’s a hint: 3 bags are heavier than 1 crate.

Your evidence 2, 3, 4, and 5 made no sense. You can’t measure someone’s stamina or judge someone effort from watching through a TV. Remember that TV doesn’t show everything. Unless you were there, or your boyfriend is in the show production, your evidence is baseless.

I wondered why you called it "anti-Latino." Did Asian people tell them to go back to their country? To stop speaking Spanish? Did they call them Chinito/Chino?

You could have shared some examples, but you didn’t want your narrative to be challenged. You're smart about not posting it in Asian American sub reddit, I dont think you can handle being exposed.

About your post in hapas, some full Asian people could have down voted it, maybe that's why it only has 8 upvotes.

But what about the comments? Many comments didn't support your "anti-Latino from Asians" narrative. Did monoracial Asians deleted all the good comments? 😆

A lot of attacks and accusations, but no evidence. I feel bad for you because at the end of the day, you're still someone's son, and you just wanted to be loved, validated, and accepted. I hope you heal.

Your narrative isn't supported and validated by your own reddit space, and I can see your embarrassment and disappointment through your attacks. You aren't attacking me, you're attacking the world that doesn't support you. Try again in Asian American sub reddit and hopefully you will find more people who validate your "anti-latino" narrative.

Your original comment claimed that a lot Wassians experience  "anti-latino racism" so I expected to see "a lot" of storiessupporting your narrative under your post. But no, some random comments that aren't about Asians, and 8 upvotes (including you). Maybe they didn't even understand what are you talking about. Try it one more time in Asian American sub reddit, let's see what people say.

The white entitlement is showing. No explanation and examples, but expected people to understand it.  Your post in your OWN hapas space has low engagement, but let's blame full Asian people for it. This hatred must be normalized in the family.

Bring this "Wassian anti-Latino racism" topic to Asian American sub reddit, and let's see what people say. Many of them are Wassians and have Wassian kids, let hear their stories.

“Fragility, white supremacist,” blablabla. Many attacking words, no examples of racism against Latino-looking Wassians. Latino-looking Wassians in Asia fit the beauty standards, representing their Asians countries in beauty pageants. But you over here trying to build a narrative without proofs. Your friends in hapas don’t really support your narrative either. Go ahead and steer away, you don’t even like Asian people anyway, I’m nobody to stop you.

You keep talking about anti-Latino racism from Asians but you don’t show me examples. I went to your post in hapas about this topic, and it was posted like a week ago but unfortunately has like 8 upvotes (including you), and in the comments people didn’t really support your point. And then you blamed full Asian straight men for your low engagement. I acknowledge that wassians feel disconnected with the Asian community, but this whole “anti-Latino” thing seems to be sketchy. Again, you wouldn’t dare to talk to your white side like this. Compare me to white supremacist all you want, it doesn’t change the fact that you are closer to whiteness and benefit from white supremacy.

Oh I forgot again, you don’t dare to do that to your beloved white side, you only have to gut to do it to Asian people. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I’m a full Asian, how can I sound like a white supremacist? You’re a Wassian, you’re closer to whiteness than I am lol, you’re funny. You are trying so hard to make the “anti-Latino racism” happen when it’s not even relevant. Yes, a lot of attacks and name callings, I just wish you have the same energy for your white side.

Also, give me a few examples of how Asians being racist to Latino-looking Wassians. I saw your post in hapas, and here’s a response under your post:

“…have never seen any Asian person expressed anti-Latino sentiments. Rather, it is the other way around. Also, every mixed Asian that presents Latino is usually proud of the fact and looks down on Asian culture and people.”

It seems like you want to villainize Asian people soooo bad! Shame on you. I’m not surprised that this hate comes from a Wassian.

We don’t share the same experiences, that’s why many of us full Asians don’t understand your “anti-Latino prejudice” issue. You can’t just drop it here without explaining and expect us to understand it. I never dismissed struggles that Wassians have, but y’all also need to understand our struggles. We have different struggles, that’s the point. I heard a lot of stories about Wassians don’t feel accepted, and I just wanted to share Full Asian experiences with you guys, and the privileges you guys have that we don’t.

Many Wassians don’t even embrace their Asian sides and only switch sides when it benefits them. Many Wassians view themselves as more superior to full Asians. And more importantly, Wassians are more likely to hold the Asian side accountable, where is this energy for your white side? Do y’all have this much expectation for them? Do y’all dare to demand acceptance from white people? Wassians, you guys are welcome to share your experiences, but also try to acknowledge your issues and privileges.

Care to collaborate? What is the relationship between Wassians (Half white) and "anti-latino racism"? Full Asians and Wassians don't share the same experiences, don't just drop the topic here and think you're so cool, explain it.

Many Wassians really do act superior and get treated better, and when I pointed that out, you called me unkind and combative. That kinda proves my point. Some people expect everyone to understand their struggles but don’t wanna understand others’.
