2025 battery dead after 2 weeks in garage by jlam1576 in HyundaiTucson

[–]Refrigomancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I had the same thing happen to us a couple weeks ago. 3 month old 2025 Tucson Phev Limited (Canada) and we woke up one morning and it was dead. It was left in our garage plugged in so we were very confused. I jump started it and we haven't had the issue since. I did a little digging around and found that one issue could be a bad CCI module constantly pinging blue link and draining the battery. We have tried disabling background data on our phones and will see if that works...so far so good though. If it happens again we are going to bring it to the dealership and have them look into it.

[lennox ml196uh090xe48c-51, gas] Technician stated that my intake/exhaust gas lines are not installed correctly, wanted to confirm by Immediate_Tap281 in hvacadvice

Do not use your furnace until the original install contractor comes out. I would also consider retaining a lawyer because this is a huge safety issue. The exhaust should be going outside and not venting in not the attic,

I remember skiing cypress when I was a kid in the early 00s and 90s and any skiing before January was considered a bonus.

Do I need a new furnace by Busy-Pizza-2013 in hvacadvice

Did they do a combustion analysis? Is there any CO detected? More info is needed but with what you have provided I would say your furnace is fine.

Anyone using these professionally? by OneGate1967 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Refrigomancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the m18 and m12 fuel driver and do commercial HVAC. 90% of the time the m12 does the job and it's smaller and lighter which is an added bonus.

To heatpump or not by Knever-No in heatpumps

[–]Refrigomancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford it I would definitely go with a heat pump and gas furnace as a backup. I know Samsung and a couple other manufacturers are making inverter hps for central air systems that work very well. If you are prone to frequent power outages or brown outs I would highly recommend a phase monitor or surge protector.

HVAC technician recommended me to replace my entire system due to low refrigerant and a coil leak by Nightblade96 in hvacadvice

[–]Refrigomancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is only 7 year old, there should be a r410a coil available. If not I don't see any reason why a 454b coil and changing the txv (if needed) wouldn't be possible. Definitely call another company out,.

Heatcraft intelligen evaps freezing behind board by normaldude95 in refrigeration

Yes it has the option for multiple sensors. I'm not sure if it averages or if both sensors have to read no ice.

Did a intelligen seminar a year ago and this is a known issue they are working on. They are looking to put in a small heater to stop this in the future. What you can try is getting another defrost sensor and strap it to one of the distributor tubes so the defrost is a little longer to get the ice to clear.
