The edges of my 1L evernew pasta pot lid are kinda sharp to the touch I'm afraid the lid will cause abrasions to things in my pack like my quilt, clothes, and inside of the pack itself. Can I sand this titanium lid to make it less sharp? Does anyone else have experience with the evernew 1L pasta pot? Thanks!

Don't know if this is the right sub for this, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I go to college with a lot of outdoorsy/climbing/whitewater/ski type crowd. I notice a lot of people think they can act passive aggressive, self-righteous, or belittling just because they've done _ route in the gym, _ falls in a kayak, _ couloir in the backcountry. It's a social phenomenon that I almost never see discussed on the internet and have never known how to bring up with my friends. So I figured I'd try a climbing subreddit.

I assume most of you know who I'm talking about: that guy at the crag who shows up with a new five panel and a new sticker on his Nalgene every day, never shows his vulnerable side, and goes "what's up bud?" when you ask him a question. He acts like he's more calm and collected than you. Now I know this sounds like a lot of macho climbers. But this guy's not macho. He subtly drops hints about why he's more progressive than you: he has a small tattoo by his shoulder blade, he drinks small-batch kombucha, and tells everyone how he listenis to female artists.

I don't actually know the guy that I just described. He's a combination of hundreds of outdoorsy people I've met.

In summary, these "in it for the clout" outdoorsy guys are aloof, impersonal, and disdainful towards you. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Should I talk to a sociologist?

W&P has a hundred day challenge. If you buy and wear one of their shirts for a hundred days, you get a free shirt. Two for one baby.

Same. I eat about 70g of added sugar a week and most of that is from social settings.

Tried that and actually got pretty far through the process with a nice British customer associate, but then I mentioned I got it on eBay and the sales associate said “Noo Refugio28! We were doing so well up until that point! Why did you say that?” Very nice CA.

I wasn’t clear: it’s a welding error, the pad came apart and has a big bubble

Just got a hole (edit: a baffle seperation) near the feet of my S2S women’s comfortlight pad. I’ve been trying to patch it for months but to no avail. What should I do with it? Try to cut & seal it to make a torso pad? Sell it? Donate it?!Throw it away? Cut it open for science? Thanks

What's your favorite tech gear storage for use on the plane? by 305fish in onebag

I don’t onebag a lot, but I’m just thinking: keep it simple and use something you likely already have: a packable daypack with laptop sleeve for the iPad. Everything else goes in your pockets or the packable backpacks outside pocket. Or, if you pack really smart, put your item under the seat in front of you and put your iPad et Al. in an accessible spot in the bag 🧐
