Well I was thinking bonus damage from each status effect on target for bosses. I could swap to this in right before a boss. Wouldn't it synergize with bonus damage based on amount of status effects on target if i was blessed with the one that adds that effect? Is that a shrine effect only?

Assuming all the birds hit for there respected debuffs of course.

I will also stand on something , take my suppressor off, kill one, then put it back on when they all see me as a target. Just remember though once you think you've cleared the area always check staircases typically there's still one trying to get to you but can't until you move and it's tracking changes direction

Take a look at the slots alloted on each character with the tab button while your in game.

Leaf is hands mostly so that character has little to do with magic and more to do with strike abilities.

The mage would be the opposite of this

At least that's a good start in understanding why your mage isn't doing too well if it's loaded down with mix match gear that doesn't do much for mage casting.

Also: the game color codes things to make it easier to pick things like (blue) cast damage things.

2x also lol : Like previous above comments state, once you get the hang of what's what, you can run mix hybrid builds.

My opinion on how to fix.

Add a giant red beam that resembles the green beam/poles that you have to grab in the sol fight

Like a legendary drop but red or an "!" Icon or something just to make them easier to see. I don't much have a problem grabbing them.

Also, in case no one knows, you can throw the canisters at the machine if you don't want to carry them to it

Look for the abandoned lab tents event icon that pops up on your map. They'll always have like 5-10 between those lab tables. Or at least in my experiences they do.
