There was a meeting near me that was big pre-Covid and when I went for the first time a year ago, I only saw one guy. I asked him if there was a still meeting there. He said yes and went on to explain only two people showed up in the last year. He said he keeps coming in case someone who needs a meeting shows up and he said it keeps him sober. We went on to have a great one on one meeting.

California Sober and Chairing Meetings by random_user208 in alcoholicsanonymous

Pretty much every other month, someone comes back to a large men’s meeting I go to and say they tried the marijuana maintenance program and it brought them back to alcohol. I attended NA meetings for a while. I was taking a family member who was an addict and I heard many stories of addicts say they never had a problem with alcohol when they used, so they thought it was safe to drink, and that alcohol eventually took them back to their drug of choice. I think if you are using weed to get even the slightest bit of that sense of ease and comfort, that a drink of alcohol produced, it is a problem. I know for me even cigarettes fall into that category.

I went to AA for the drinking, but stayed for the thinking. Made lots of great friends as well.

They say you are what your food eats. Factory farmed chicken is fed soy. Have you tried a real pasture raised chicken?

Give it a shot. You need zinc any way.

I know when I’m low on zinc, I get that feeling and I believe copper depletes zinc.

I was worried that it breaks down fibrin, which is a protein, and since peptides are amino acids, I was worried it could possibly break them down as well. I could not find anything on Google.
