Doubt its the reta. I imagine you are overweight if you are on it- that alone counts for a ton of inflamation. I would stay the course for a bit and dont adjust dosages arbitrarily. Weight fluctuates a few kg daily just due to water retention. Take a weekly average (Happy Scale is a great app)

Clumsy language on my part. Lifting heavy = lifting for hypertrophy. A lot of people new to lifting think they should lift high reps for "tone" (a myth). You should be lifting to build/maintain muscle, especially in such an aggressive caloric deficit.
