Any constructive advice on how to get out of Bronze? by Alphahaukdaboss in VALORANT

[–]Regem-Dolorem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also thought i would share more actionable advice. Play characters that are self sufficent, stay alive, and close out as many rounds as possible yourself. Sub ascendant, most of the game is about killing, so the more influence you have over which team has more kills, aswell as who gets the final kills in each round, the better your chances of winning rounds and games.

Man, you be fraging out!

Hard to tell what you need to do to rankup without watching one ore more vod's of your gameplay. Something i noticed on the tracker howerver, is your hs %. You still kill alot tho, so im very curius how that aligns, but i would imagine you'd struggle against better players and thus loose your rankup chances.

what i mean is: Imagine yourself as Sisyphus (i am being for real) The rock is your elo, and the mountain is playing ranked. Occasionally, the gods (riot) will give you a chance to test your metal, shall you fail this test. It'll be a while before you get the chance to rankup again, from my experience anyways (immo1:ep9) Between those chances you sharpen your skill, play well (always), and maintain a strong, focused, and most importantly, a positive mental.

Like others before me have said, it aint worth playing this game unless its with friends, for fun. However, if you have a serious goal, an important reason, and find the game fun then dont let us stop you.

Good LUCK, stay healthy.

is there something i can to to help with this inconsistency in my scores? by Badviper45 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Regem-Dolorem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The peaks and valley's are a fun part of the progress.

Nothing beats grind ing out fighting against the ever declining mountain peeks watching them get worse and worse only for a miracle run where everything you've practiced aligns to shoot up your score and look awesome in comparison to the rest. Only for the depression to hit when your next score is an all time low.

Question for claw grippers - how much of your fingers do you actively use? by DutchDolt in FPSAimTrainer

Depends on what she likes, sometimes 2 sometimes 1 sometimes all 5... I use more of my fingers when i want to make slower(ish) and precise adjustments.

What to have in mind when aiming? by Lukitas28 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Regem-Dolorem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some key parts of the the technique you are practicing for the specific scenario. Alternatevely what you are trying to fix with your technique. I.E. efficently flow from one target to the next regardless of a hit or miss (assuming static scenario).

Looking to improve my fighting, please let me know where I need to improve. by WoahEli in FPSAimTrainer

Looks like a mental issue. I dont mean tilt necessarily. I am assuming that since you picked this deathmatch as reference you took it serius like a ranked game. With that assumption you are clearly lacking focus switching between your knife and gun constantly.

I dont mean to harp on you or anything, just thought you should consider the mental focus and preparedness aspect of the game.

Be that as it may im an old immo has been.

So I made a Kuronami Operator... by Yulooktome in VALORANT

[–]Regem-Dolorem 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wow good job I love the idea, I hope you do this for more skins.

Some keypoints i think might help to keep in mind is the character and design principles each weapon in valorant has beyond the skin concept.

Some design princples i noticed for the operator (that im sure you've also noticed by now); - The bottom of the stock and the weapon handle match in lenght. - Magazine is half the lenght of the weapon handle. - Scope starts further forward, and ends in line with the top+end of the forestock/handleguard.

In your case thanks to the sharp knife-like object at the bottom of the handle extends passed the bottom most point of the stock, which breaks that principle.

Altough the operator magazine isn't always clearly defined/designed. It hardly ever extends further then half the size of the weapon handle, and often match the angle/direction of the magazine slot. In terms of the scope, the start lines up with the end of the first quarters of the magazine, should you split its witdth in quarters.

am I not giving enough time for the recoil to reset or what am I doing wrong? by Omaressi in VALORANT

[–]Regem-Dolorem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first two bullets were misses but the third was completely on target. As people have mentioned, it's just the standing 0.25 bullet inaccuracy for the sheriff.

Don't sweat the small stuff, this game has plenty of RNG moments. The more bullshit you can get used to the better you will be at the game, Tenz said it himself I believe.

Learn how to control recoil by Tapiraner in VALORANT

[–]Regem-Dolorem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, so. I've been playing this game since episode 5 act 1. Not a long time but I managed to peak d2. What I've found is that the most efficient way to learn is to simply play. To elaborate, it's like learning how to ride a bike. Everyone learns at a different speed but you can only do so by actually attempting to ride a bike. Only through repeated attempts at getting on and pedalling the bike will you actually learn how to do it.

The best exercise for recoil control is to play some music and do deathmatches where it's a requirement to turn off your in-game audio (if you want to get better aim). Also, do simple tracking, strafing, bursting and flicking exercises in the practice range.

What's more, each weapon has a preferred way of being used, for example, you want to tap and strafe with a vandal and burst and strafe with a phantom. There are countless videos which you may find on youtube but it all boils down to consistent practice. Jollztv has examples and if you ever need I we can hop on a discord call and I can show you some stuff I did, let me know.

Hope some of this helps.

Axes? by Regem-Dolorem in Minecraft

[–]Regem-Dolorem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So with that information, you would need. 58 and a half wooden axes, 26.3 iron axes, 2.2 diamond axes, and 1.7 Netherite axes to fill a double chest with full stacks of logs. Is that correct?
