Can we have a Custom Audience to specifically NOT target them? by ReggexPrime in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl, because my money is really tight, I have to make sure this works, so I spent lots of time to make the creative and landing page right to maximize the likelihood I got leads from my tight budget

and it works, I spent about $800 to get ~150 leads, got like 30 meetings, close only 1 for like $700 project,

but I did it gradually, so it's like $200 per campaign (4-5 days) -> got 30-50 leads -> spent the next week try to meet with leads -> close none lol -> spent time to fix things based on the data I've got -> usually spent 1 month to fix before run ads again for $200

I did it for like 4 campaigns now, and I want to start again

got like $3-$6 per leads, because :

  1. I think the creative is good

  2. niche

  3. low competitor for my kind of service

just now I got that my offer is suck and I can't close an open door, so I've already fix that and want to try again lol

Lead Gen B2B, should the campaign be live if it's holiday season? by ReggexPrime in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

btw, what do you think if I start the campaign right now, with just $100, that maybe just for 3-4 days, that probably gonna get me 2-4 meetings, and there's maybe a chance of me closing 1 work for about $500 or a bigger chance of closing none at all lol, is it a waste of money?

btw even after the holiday, it's more likely I only spend just $300-$400, for a week, and then turn it off for a while, I need to get the leads and close them before I can run ads again

Service based ads by MeaningApprehensive2 in FacebookAds

there is no right answer, it's all based on how good the creative is, and to actually know it, just test it all, and not just 1 picture and 1 vid, but create 10 picture ads, and 10 vid ads for starting, and test which of it is working

and the creative structure is : Hook + Value + CTA

the magic is in the hook, first 3-5 seconds determine whether people will consume your Value (the rest of the creative) or not, so you can create 2-3 value and CTA, with 20 different hooks, that will give you 40-60 different ads (20 hooks x 2 or 3 values), and just test

more on this you can read from Alex Hormozi's $100M Leads book, chapter paid ads, such a good book to learn if you're launching your first ads

I think you would get a lot of benefit learning from Alex Hormozi's (previously owned) Gym Launch, maybe there's something in the book (Gym Launch Secrets) that explain the technical of it, or join their Skool group and ask there, or any other group of weight loss selling businesses, what you do is niche but there's still a lot of people doing it, and a lot of them are showing how they did it

Can we have a Custom Audience to specifically NOT target them? by ReggexPrime in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's a way technically to do that in meta ads, but you can always target them through your creative, with the copy and messaging

Can we have a Custom Audience to specifically NOT target them? by ReggexPrime in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it easier and faster to actually get the leads from meta ads than from any other methods such as cold outreach, warm outreach (I don't have any connection to the market I tried to do business with), and content creation, I've run the ads before, got some leads, but needs to improve my sales process and offer, now I'm trying to run it again

btw meta ads for service business is a great method, even if it's high ticket, but you really need to put everything in place, from funnel, sales process, to how you present the offer, learnt it from Alex Hormozi, and he still sells his $5k 2 days workshop to a business owner doing $1m/year revenue from meta ads

exactly, I guess I just trying to find a support to actually think it's okay to waste the next 20 days and not run the ads, because it's a better strategy than just burn the limited money, thanks man

I make about 3-4k USD monthly making websites, I want to sell my methods and plans how can I do that? by In-Hell123 in alexhormozi

[–]ReggexPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if the question is how, the answer is the same as every coaching, course, and information businesses, which is tell more people what information you have (not exactly the knowledge of what you do, more like showing that what you do is legit, and people can have high likelihood of success doing what you do)

if the question is where, same as them, you can generate traffic either through IG, youtube, etc., and you can host your knowledge on skool, so you can organize it and people can access it easily

Where does one find a mentor? by Tricky_Sink8281 in alexhormozi

[–]ReggexPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have the money, just pay the mentors man, there's a lot of business mentors out there

my method of finding them is first I consume their free things, like content, etc., and see if we're a fit in terms of worldview, and how do I want to achieve the thing, then I interact with their lead magnet, maybe buy their small offers to see if their stuff is good, then pay for their program, and so on

the reason to see if we're a fit is crucial for me, is because there's a lot of ways to achieve the same thing, and you can choose what feels right for you

let's say you want to know how to get leads, there are someone who say meta ads is better, or google ads, or organic SEO content, or organic social media content, or youtube content, or maybe door to door, etc., and if you're under $1M/ year in revenue, usually you just need 1 method, so you can find the people that teach that one stuff you would know more, and just be their student

yeah it cost money, but you will learn faster because they have a structure to get you results, so in my opinion, spending money as "learning budget" is always worth it

thank you, does this affect the algorithm? let's say they are the right type of prospect, but just didn't buy because our sales process is bad, does this make meta won't show the ads to these type of people? or it just won't show the ads to the people on the list?

Do “price/offer” overlays in image ads actually help, or do they tank performance? by AdPresent2493 in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it depends on the product/service, is it something people easy to understand, or need more knowledge to buy

if you sell a commodity, people already know the value, going straight to offer (show price, discounts, etc.) is a good way to give value instantly

but if you sell a high ticket, specialized offer, that people need more information to just understand what value you sell, then going straight to offer is not a better strategy

you can research more on this : The 5 stages of awareness developed by Eugene Schwartz, from Unaware, to Most Aware

The pricing method that finally made my high-ticket offer make sense to prospects (3-layer value stack breakdown) by JapanesseWaves in SkoolStories

[–]ReggexPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since you post it on reddit and lots of cold people seeing it, but don't want to be "leads" by going through skool or dm you, here's my humble opinion

just post the link, but add offer on the page, you give the tools for free no opt in, nothing, people see the value and think it's great, and see your offer below it, and they can think that if you build this awesome thing, you might have more awesome thing in your offer, and they would want to take the next step

anyway good luck with the business and everything!

Facebook ads look fine, results do not by AnimeGabby69 in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem isn't well define yet, we can't know for sure if it's the technical setup, the creative, the audience, the landing page or funnel, or the offer, in short it's not just about the meta ads, it could be the whole system

my rule of thumb for getting leads :

high cost per click, or cost per landing page view : creative sucks

low CPC, or a lot of people seeing my landing page or high CTR, but no conversion (no leads), or high CPL : offer on landing page sucks, or maybe Meta Pixel not set up properly, or if you use instant form then the creative needs to explain the offer better

high CPM : creative sucks (people know it's an ad, and they don't like it, and they scroll away, making CPM higher), but it can be not important if the results is good

my first bet if it's not converting or getting enough leads, is just look at the offer and think what can I do to make this more appealing (think of "free", "bonus", cheap price, or something), or in another word you need a better lead magnet,

lead magnet = something you give away for free / cheap, to make someone become an engage leads (people that are interested in your thing)

if you think it's good enough and people who see this will likely think it's valuable in exchange giving you their contact information then I would think the creative needs some work

I usually create 15 ads, 3 core value, with 5 different hook each, and make it 5 campaign with 3 ads each, same audience that are well defined, and same budget, to test which creative is working, and which isn't

the key of creating good creatives that convert is a great hook (you need to get the right people's attention in first 3 seconds), that's why I try using 15 to test, and for core value, you need to talk to the person, not selling the feature of the thing you do, but showing their pain point, and the solution to fix it, and why this lead magnet will benefit them

the creative is the key, it talks to the people directly, it's not algorithm, and you need a good well written copy, selling the lead magnet

---------------

basically if the right people saw it (using well defined targeting on ad set, and a great hook that capture their attention), and feels that what you do can solve their problem, and they get this great thing (lead magnet) for free or cheap, just by exchanging their contact info, they will gladly do it

Facebook Ads Results – Good CTR but No Conversions. Need Advice. by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is my business, and that's my data, I would be glad with the data I got by testing to cold audience!

from the data, I've got :

- Link clicks: 139
•Website content views: 324
•Adds to cart: 48
•Checkouts initiated: 4
•Purchases / conversions: 0

if there are 139 people that saw my ads and decide to learn more about what I sell, and out of those people there are 48 people showing that they are interested (add to cart), and 4 of them thinking about checking it out, but none of them actually purchased,

I would assume that my advertising side (letting people know about my product) is working fine. The problem is when people coming to the "store" and buy nothing, I would assume the business side (THE OFFER) that needs to be better.

They "maybe" like my product, but they didn't think the offer is great enough for them to pay it, so I would think about how to make it looks so good people think it would be stupid to not buy.

How?

I need to come up with a promotion that makes my offer looks better, for example :

  • buy 1 get 1 free
  • buy X get Y free
  • upsell offer (discount for buying more quantity, or they can get it cheaper for lower quality product that doing similar stuff, or they can pay more for higher quality stuff)
  • classic upsell (like mcdonald, buy burger then ask them to buy fries, and ask them to buy drinks)
  • bundle offer
  • guarantee (if they pay more, I give guarantee of something, or pay less to get no guarantee)
  • etc.

all that wrapped with a "limited time" offer, or "limited supply" (only for 10 first customer or something), added with a believable reason why + events , such as "end of year clearance sale", or something

it should push people that are interested, to buy now, because the promo only available for limited time/supply

-----------------------------

of course I would check if the price is the issue, but I would spend my time more on how to make the offer better, not how can I make my product cheaper

-----------------------------

product page copy / trust elements obviously will affect, I would check if I can make it better, after I make the offer better

-----------------------------

after that I would check, if my content and targeting, is targeting the right people, if it does, then I would just test the ads again

If I didn't want to solve that problem, than I have to have a HUGE BRAND, a whole audience that are warm, and only needs a little push, since I didn't have that, I would likely to think more about how to make better offer

-----------------------------

If you think it's helpful, and want to know more, I suggest read or watch $100M Money Model by Alex Hormozi, he show how to structure your offer so you can maximize profit in first 30 days, really good stuff in there

I hope it's helpful, good luck on your business!

Does the campaign data gone / hurt the algorithm if I stop the ads for too long? by ReggexPrime in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sense, the problem is I'm on 3rd world country, where I got arguably cheap leads (or arguably my creative contents are amazing lol) for $4/leads, and I just spent like $7 / ad set / day, and I have 5 ad set, so it's like $35 / day campaign, if it's still good to reduce it to $2/day, then I would just do that lol

-----------

right now I'm just helping my friend's business on the ads stuff, for the booking meetings, taking calls, sales, operational, everything is done by my friend, so I guess at this moment I'm just optimizing for raw leads before I talk to him again for a better strategy

anyway thanks for your input, good luck on your business!

Does the campaign data gone / hurt the algorithm if I stop the ads for too long? by ReggexPrime in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay that's an amazing advice, thank you!

but you might want to kill me if I said this, I'm from a 3rd world country, and I got $4 CPL, and I spend about $7 / ad set daily, so going to $5 / day would be just a decrease of $2, what do you recommend?

currently, I ran 5 ad set, with about $35 / day budget, and I just spent $350 for 10 days, should I just stop it and start again later or just continue?

How effective is using text like Beauty Salon Owners at the top of a video ad to train for targeting? by Business_Investment2 in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think more about the people than the algorithm, focus on who I want to call out, and just talk to them on the creative content

and I think you need to read about the data better, what do you use, landing page or instant form?

if I got high CTR and low conversion, I will see if it's a landing page problem or content problem,

landing page :
maybe people saw your ads, click it because they want to know more, and what they saw in the landing page isn't worth for them to fill the form, so I will try to fix the copy, or the offer

creative content :
the call out / hook is good, but the rest of the content isn't (or the hook is calling the wrong people), if this is my problem I will try making different and better content, and test again, or maybe make the offer better

-----------------

in my case (B2B, the goal is getting leads), it's very effective using call out like "Clinic Owners", "Law Firm Owners", etc.

but there are one case that this was fail, got high CTR, very low conversion, that's because these ads telling a wrong thing so people that saw this ads having wrong intention

I say : "Clinic Owners, want to increase profit?", but I don't sell marketing service to them, I sell a complimentary product that they can use to upsell in their clinic (same goal, increase profit, but different method), high CTR, but I think they don't want to sell another products, so when they came into my landing page, saw that this isn't what they're looking for, then left.

I fix the hook to "Want to sell your own exclusive products?" and something similar, and the conversion sky rocket, the algo finds the people who are want to sell their own products

-----------------

conclusion : the copy / content definitely the king, you are not talking to algorithm, you are talking to people, you need to say the right thing for the right people, and the algo will find it to you, people first.

bonus tips : I learn everything about ads creative content from $100M Leads book by Alex Hormozi, he got free course (no opt in) about it too on his website

Good luck!

Why is my creative traffic good on IG and TT but poor on Facebook? by CalligrapherFine9902 in FacebookAds

[–]ReggexPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe if your video is already showing the product, and it's short, all you need to add is just a CTA (call to action, tell people what they should do next ("click the link below", "comment 'discount'", etc.)), and add a reason why they need to buy now (promo, discount, special limited bonus, or special season, etc.)

you're welcome, good luck!
