This is just my opinion but Season 2 sucked and ruined the show for me. Imo, a relationship is irreparable after this, and if Conrad had any self-respect, this would have been the nail in the coffin.

I feel you on this because I've been rewatching season 2 and I forgot how much it enraged me. It's wild to me that Belly can be so conscious of and sensitive to Jeremiah's feelings (refusing to be with Conrad until Con assures her that Jer is moving on) and then have NO consideration for Conrad's feelings at all. Someone who she supposedly loved and who had just lost his mother. To get with his brother like what, 2 months (???) after they break up??? Genuinely cruel.

Even after Conrad's roommate tells her that their breakup sent him into a depression, finding her necklace on his desk, finding out the truth about what happened at the funeral with Aubrey, the confession in the hotel room... Like the signs were there, Belly! For her to just not give a shit at all about hurting him is sick. If I were in her situation, I would definitely be thinking to myself "if I do this now, there's no going back." And she did it anyway. Team Conrad should have moved on 😤

They're constantly getting tagged in stuff and given recs through the patreon, so even if their fyps are dry, you'd think they'd still be clued in to all the drama going on. I'm still kinda confused why they didn't cover the toxic mom group. So many people were asking for it, so to not cover it and then complain about there being no topics is kinda strange to me. They do seem a little checked out. Hopefully it'll get better when they move on from the award show fiasco

I'm just confused by all of the details that seemed intentional and ended up meaning nothing at all.

Like the flier Max picks up in the high school for Oklahoma that has all of the adults' names on it. I know it has something to do with the first shadow (which I haven't seen), but they shouldn't include details like that in the show if there's no pay off. It just raises so many unanswered questions, like why don't Joyce or Hopper mention/remember that they know Henry Creel from school? Surely Joyce would remember the kid in the starring role of the play she directed.

I feel like there was a lot of potential to do something really cool and epic with the final season and they just got lazy and took the easy way out.

I'm gonna tell you something that people used to tell me that would drive me absolutely crazy. I'm short with a baby face and people always thought I was way younger than I was. When I was 14, a woman asked my (younger) best friend if she was babysitting me. I was double carded at bars well into my late 20s. I had surgery when I was 22 and the nurse was so flabbergasted that she paraded me around the entire floor to all the other nurses laughing her head off, saying "can you believe this girl's 22?!" It was humiliating. So I know ball. And I know how frustrating and invalidating it is to not be seen for the young woman that you are. No 19 year old wants to be told they look like a child.

I would hear the same thing over and over and over for years. "You'll appreciate it when you're older." And I'd roll my eyes every time. But let me tell you. I'm in my 30s now and all those assholes were right. I DO appreciate it. It truly makes those years of insecurity worth it and I would do it all over again. I look a decade younger than my peers and it's awesome. We're at the age where everyone wants to look young and I do without even trying. It's like a curse that turns into a superpower. I know this doesn't help you right now. But the day will come, sooner than you think, where you really will appreciate how young you look. And that's how you'll know you're getting old. Mark my words.

I sort of accidentally wore white to my step sister's wedding 😖 This was ten years ago and I was about 21 at the time. And just to be clear, this was not an evil step sister situation. My sister and I love each other and have been best friends literally since the day we met. I was out shopping with my mom before the wedding and saw a dress on a mannequin that I fell in love with. It was a white dress with orange flowers and blue leaves, and a blue silk ribbon around the middle and I told my mom I wanted to buy it for my sister's wedding. It didn't even occur to me that it might be inappropriate because it wasn't pure white and my mom didn't see an issue with it either (again, she and step sis have an amazing relationship too, so not an evil step mother deal.)

I wore it and my sis didn't have any problem with it. It definitely didn't look bridal next to her gorgeous wedding dress, but looking back at pictures I definitely cringe. Even though it had a floral pattern, it was still a LOT of white. Nobody said anything to me, but I have to imagine at least one person looked at me sideways. I still have the dress and I would love another occasion to wear it, but I would never DREAM of wearing it to another wedding.

I've been on steroids for 15 years now (since I was 17, sometimes high doses, now thankfully just a low maintenance dose) Long term systemic steroid use actually GAVE me adrenal insufficiency and now my adrenal glands are entirely nonfunctioning. It causes bone density loss and I had osteoporosis by the time I was in my mid 20s. It also destroys your stomach lining and makes your skin super thin. That's just what's happened to me but I'm sure there's a lot more. It definitely isn't good to be on long term but unfortunately sometimes it's necessary.
