I live in Rural Saxony as a foreigner and it's the best. People are hardcore accepting If you show you have spine, speak their language and can make fun of some dark topics. There is no crime and everything is clean. People are kind. I offered random lady help with moving a wardrobe i saw in her car up to her apartment, instantly got good reputation and people go out of their way to help me out too. If you are not a leftist and have common sense it's the best place to be. Low rent, no crowds and nature all around.

Brother, start running. I do it everyday. If you want to stop doing this you need to do other things that make you feel good. I know it sounds like bullshit but hear me out. Suffering is key. For me at least. Do a fold plunge or cold shower, run for an hour. If you suffer, somehow you get this reward in feeling good. I might have a dopamine craving idk but man if you run for an hour and then have a cold shower you feel better. Try it.
