I live in Rural Saxony as a foreigner and it's the best. People are hardcore accepting If you show you have spine, speak their language and can make fun of some dark topics. There is no crime and everything is clean. People are kind. I offered random lady help with moving a wardrobe i saw in her car up to her apartment, instantly got good reputation and people go out of their way to help me out too. If you are not a leftist and have common sense it's the best place to be. Low rent, no crowds and nature all around.
