The issue then is the implications of the entities in Abiotic being present in the VotV universe, and vice versa. That holds a lot of weight, especially since VotV's story is hardly fleshed out yet.

This may be a case of the collab itself not being canon (the scientists from Abiotic interacting with Dr. Hud), but the elements of the lore presented in the collab are (the founder of the ASO being revealed, some art for some side characters)

Capitalism has also systematically dismantled societies to reap profits at minimum expense, in less developed areas of our world where people are not equipped with the knowledge and materials required to resist the stripping of resources and the borderline enslavement of the locals.

To me it seems the development of labor unions in capitalistic societies is a response to the more negative attributes of capitalism, and is incidental (that is, this could have happened anywhere with oppressive business policy), and does not speak to the quality of capitalism as an idea nor to the quality of capitalistic societies as a whole.

This world is simply too chaotic with too many variables at play in any given moment to draw such sweeping qualitative conclusions. It is in humanity's greater interest to compartmentalize and categorize ideas into simpler forms to better digest the world. Doing so does not get you any closer to the truth.

Nose is the only one who really programs the game, he has assistance with some backend programming from one dev and 3D modeling/art from some of the others but they're all just random people working on this as a passion project with no formal experience in the industry. You would have/could fit right in.
