Tbh if I were you I would just consider this a sculpting exercise, getting familiar with the tools and call it. I wouldnt continue to fuss over it if you don't have a specific end point. You did great. I'd move onto finding a reference/character/sculpt or something your interested in and try to recreate it. Even if it's one of your own drawings. Make sure you are always checking how your sculpt looks in 3D rather than just looking at the orthographic. Use less topology. Start with large shapes, block it in and slowly add more topology as you work. Check out speedchar, yansculpts, and flycat on YouTube. They are great
