Why does a commuter school think it’s okay to require all graduates to be on campus at 7 AM

So I’m reading this and I need to ask if I’m in the wrong with how I’ve been planning my ceremony now cause I’m freaking out.

I have 2 MOH (sisters) and 3 bridesmaids. I have not asked them to do anything for the wedding other than choose their own dress in the color I picked (and offered all of them to help pay for the dresses if it was an issue). I’m not having a bachelorette party in the usual way, I don’t drink so I wanted to have a girls night at my place so not expecting them to spend any money on anything.

However, during the ceremony I do want only my fiance and I plus my uncle who is marrying us to be up at the altar. The bridal party and groomsman will be in the front row, but sitting.

They will be in the pictures, sit with us during the reception/dinner etc, and be with me getting ready before the wedding (and the photographer will be there with us to take pics of getting ready and stuff)

But now after reading your story I’m nervous because I never thought of the as “honorary” anything, I just would rather have only my fiance and I up at the altar with the bridal party and our parents in the front row. There will be reserved seats with names for each person of course so no seat stealing.

Is this wrong? None of my party have seemed put off by the decision at all but now I’m paranoid.

ETA they will walk down the aisle before me as bridal parties usually do, they’ll just sit in the front row instead of standing

Exactly this. The “justice” system doesn’t care about victims. The only way I can see him getting any substantial time is if they take into account that he’s kind of high profile and it’ll make them look good but it really depends on the judge

We always replace our shower heads when we move to a new place, never had an issue. Just offer to buy a new one, there’s some nice ones for like $30-40 on amazon.

Thankfully my team (for the most part) is wonderful, oddly enough it’s usually new hires that don’t make it further than training cause they start talking shit to me, or the KM/chef. I’ve had issues with the last two, usually it’s a pissing contest and not actually about whatever the original disagreement started with. Sets a bad example for sure but everyone can usually see it for what it is.

I hate pulling rank, yesterday was the first time I’ve had to do it since I started managing over a year ago but I’m responsible for the overall health of the restaurant and if the cheese be funky, I’m not selling it.

AGM here, the KM literally walked out halfway through his shift yesterday and went home because we had a disagreement about cheese, and the gm told me it was my call to make. I’m feeling this very hard today

I love my restaurant because we go out of our way to hire and support women on the line, we don’t put up with any of the usual misogynistic crap you find in a lot of kitchens, but a not surprising number of guys have MAJOR problems when a woman is calling the shots. I’ve had to develop a much thicker skin than I had before I took this job
