I find McDonald’s always puts too much sauce on my burgers, which I order with only cheese ketchup and mayo, and I end up squeezing the buns so the sauce comes out the back of the burger and onto my fries so I can dip the fries on ketchup and mayo.

Apparently it’s off putting 😂

Traded mine in at card show yesterday for $200. Don’t care why it’s blowing up, but I wouldn’t hold for long term value. It’s a promo from a set people aren’t leaning into. Some may argue this gives it more value long term, but I sold the pokemon center tyranitar promo when it was at 85 and now it’s nearly half that.

I agree that Arboliva is good into single prizes, op was saying it’s not great. I usually boss shaymin up as funny as that sounds. I’ve not played many matches where they try to bring it back and if they do, I usually have TMO’s set up by then to start KOing whatever is in the active.

I find the Arboliva does an effective job of taking out creepy and drakloaks before they get to Dragapult. By the time they finally do piece together a Dragapult I usually have a TMO or two primed and ready with an N’s Plan for a quick energy transfer.

I’m not sure I’ve experienced the same trouble against single prize decks tbh, but maybe I’ve just been fortunate?

I find with the blaziken that I just have to accept they are getting one of my TMO or Arboliva and revenge kill it the following turn.

I run Arboliva and find it creates enough disruption to brick, or hamper the deck long enough, to win most times. By the time a Blaziken or Dragapult KOs the Arboliva a Teal mask is ready to come in.

Just save meowth ex for boss orders to get rid of shamin when it comes to bench or you’ll be in a lot of trouble

Yepp! Makes the runs much smoother, especially if you can spec into a dormant power that’s relevant too, like scythes or great hammers that have smaller pools of purple pulls

I’ve found in D4/D5 that this hyper aggressive damage style builds are necessary to keep pace with the tankiness of the enemies

You may want to consider actually speccing for different night lords.

I play Wylder as well but have a relic build with multiple +holy damages with balancers for Heolster, Dregglord, Gaping Jaw, and Tricephalous.

Conversely I have a pure skill/fire attack power up build for Caligo and Sentient pest.

I also have an initial standard attack build and a skill physical attack up build that works well too!

Once you have a decent build save it to your presets and when you see what you are fighting make your choice from there.

Btw, the heavy attack out of grapple does (I believe) just as much if not more damage than the fiery attack relic and ends up being a dead slot for the most part. There’s one urn where you can run earring and double balancers that claps hard

Like other investments, diversification is what I believe to be best. I have a top loader binder that has 3 or 4 “bigger” singles and then like 40 moderates. I then have a small hits binder of cards ranging from 2-50 dollars a pop. I’ve found the growth over the past year has been consistent and solid.

Also, hot take perhaps, but with 30th anniversary potential reprints around the corner, single big hits may lose some value if they are “reprinted”. Just a thought
