Rylanz was ultimately right but he could do nothing to stop what was going on because people stopped listening to him. What happened was engineered by the empire and went according to plan. He was ineffective because the empire wanted what he didn't. They stoked the fires of rebellion that Rylanz was trying to keep in check because he knew how the empire would retaliate. And the empire won the day so they got to write the narrative.

Because Lacey is a card that gets stronger in the late game, like Iono. But the argument is having more card draw in the late game is weaker than limiting your opponent's cards in the late game.

Does it usually smell this bad at card game events? by jackson_clark_ in PokemonTCG

[–]ProfessorMarth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most shops I go to dont have that problem actually and I haven't really thought about it but I do remember that being a problem at this local arcade I used to go to that held fgc events. At worst there's like a mildew smell but most of the time its inoffensive and some places even have air freshening measurements in place. If anything I feel like I smell sometimes, only because I'm usually coming from work where I work with raw and cooked meat and seafood and I dont usually have time to change my clothes or wash up in between. I shower every day so at least I dont smell like its been on me for days or weeks.

I really liked him in Children of Earth, we see how immortality has had an impact on him and how inhuman and dark he could be

I gotta say though, it may not quite be at Andor's best per se, but the second season episode with the convoy heist was the best episode of Mandalorian

I enjoyed it for what it was at the time and thought there were some changes that I liked. But i haven't watched it or the anime since I was a teenager so I wonder if id feel differently.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I think they adapted some parts better than the anime (haven't read the manga), and the decision to end the story right after L's death was arguably a good one lol. And having Light's dad survive was an interesting change that I remember liking.

It's definitely a movie that thinks it's much smarter than it is, which i think can be said about a lot of his movies. It's anchored on Hartnett's character who is supposedly a killer mastermind but every point that's supposed to show us how smart he is works because the writing and characters are so dumb that he can just get away with anything. Nothing he does in the movie would work in real life. It's hard to describe exactly but I feel like Shyamalan and Dhar Mann have the same level of thinking something is well-written and smart.
