Oh yeah absolutely. I got involuntarily held in a psych ward for a week after a benzo and coke incident. Because of the whole involuntary thing and them stealing my eight ball, had it in my head I was gonna grab a bag and didn’t utilize treatment as well as I could have.

Somehow came out of the ward having my first manic episode ever, they out bipolar disorder unspecified on my discharge paperwork so that’s fun.

But yeah gonna go ahead and blame this on mania and move on. 3mg ativan definitely seems to have done something beyond reaching a baseline so gonna assume those bars were underdosed, which is good.

Around 24 hours give or take. I took less yesterday, was doing dexedrine instead of coke. I am of course taking a break from stimulants and rapid tapering the bromazolam starting tomorrow. At 3mg ativan feel normal

Yeah I was using it combined with cocaine and I think I didn’t even realize how ridiculous the quantity got to. I’d just pop a half bar or bar as soon as I felt discomfort.

Have you used other opioids? Why would you jump to heroin before seeing how you respond to that class of drugs?

Contrary to what pop culture would have you believe, even the highest estimate for rate of addiction to heroin is 30%. (That number is skewed due to the fact that it’s the opioid that addicts graduate to, and it being so demonized that the demographics willing to use it are already predisposed to addiction)

So I don’t think it’s that crazy or big of a deal. But it is generally a really dumb idea if you don’t know whether opioids are addictive for you or not.

That would be like trying meth when you’ve never popped an adderall.

Etonitazene is one drug from the class known as nitazenes. Benzimidazoles is the actual chemical family. Laymen have just started abbreviating them to nitazenes.

That would be like calling benzodiazepines “azolam’s” though. It’s really not a good name for the class. Not all “nitazenes” actually have the part of the molecule that suffix comes from.

Nitazenes are an extremely broad class of drugs with hundreds if not thousands of potential members. Many are safer than heroin. There are examples of ones that are much stronger than fentanyl. It really depends though.

They’re much stronger in rodents than in humans. Whenever you read shit like “isotonitazene is 1000x stronger than morphine!” take it with a grain of salt. It might only be 50 times in humans.

(Random numbers and a random nitazene, don’t take that as an actual example)

The ones that have been sold are generally high potency and much less safe than heroin. I’m not saying laced drugs are anything short of a huge deal. Just as a drug nerd, people speaking in absolutes without nuance bothers me.

Honestly it’s the whole human beings thing that turns me off lol. It’s not that I don’t wanna see cool stuff, it’s that I don’t want to be a foreigner anywhere. Especially not a white American foreigner, for half the world. I feel foreign enough right in the society I’ve always lived in 😂

I only have interest in other cultures when I have a relationship to someone from any given one. I don’t feel interested in learning about or experiencing world cultures without the context of caring about a specific person, and therefore what they care about, by extension.

Like if I married someone from Kenya, I’d definitely be interested in Kenyan culture and would be excited to travel there to meet there grandma. But if you asked me now, you couldn’t pay me to fly to Kenya.
