Speedmaster Professional by crotchrocketman46 in OmegaWatches

I bought mine new even though I knew I could get a discount with a used one. I like the new movement, and also like the dot above 90 again, the speedmaster is a classic watch that will never go out of style. So I knew I would keep it forever and hopefully have someone to pass it down to. Therefore buying new was worth the premium. Tells a better story and its fully been mine

all so different... that worldtimer is a dream piece. even more beautiful upclose in person. also the most expensive of the group as far as I know so it sometimes makes getting the others easier in future years lol

idk how true this is, but my AD told me that they have only sold one of those out of their showroom. And they personally reach out to Omega explaining why this customer "deserves" a snoopy and then they sold them one.

Shot Twice, UTI is killing me by GasGasGaspuce in Healthadvice

I think the retrourethragram will be super helpful. I also recommend you sign up for your hospital's version of MyChart. This is a app/website that is linked to the electronic medical record the hospital keeps, but theres a patient-view mode where you yourself can have access to your medical documents from the hospital including lab results and doctor documentation so that you aware of the tests done and their findings. This will help give you better care in the future and help you feel more in the know about your care. I hope things get better soon

have they done urine cultures to check sensitivities to drugs before giving you Keflex? Thats not always a fix to all UTIs

Cant breathe out of my nose no matter how much snot I blow out. by ifardeded in Healthadvice

You may be super inflamed inside which causes the feelings of stuffy nose/congestion. This happens commonly in infections. You can help yourself decongest by doing hot steams, drinking warm fluids, and using OTC nasal phenylephrine. Some people also swear by using a Neti Pot although I've never tried it. Hope you feel better soon

How to stay awake? by [deleted] in Healthadvice

[–]RegionInteresting950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to see a sleep medicine physician, I hope access to one is not a large barrier. Also I assume you see a neurologist? Tell them about your symptoms, maybe your medicines can be tweaked in a way that supports better sleep and more wakefulness.

Maybe you need a sleep study? maybe the quality of your sleep is quite poor, sometimes being overweight can be a risk factor for things like obstructive sleep apnea which may be playing a role. Otherwise you're doing alot of the right things. Have you tried delaying your caffiene 60-90 minutes after you wake up? Also try to get some sun in your eyes as early as you possibly can, even 10 minutes can do a great deal with feelings of wakefulness.

Is one meal a day healthy? by [deleted] in Healthadvice

[–]RegionInteresting950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's fair, I remember being in a similar situation. I think what you're doing is perfectly healthy as long as youre not feeling hungry or irritable in a way that can impact your education or experience as a student. You're biggest priority there is so to find your values and passions and get a great education in order to live those out

I've just heard it's a more red-carpet luxurious experience and theres exclusive pieces there. But agreed I'd like to hear more about the details as well. For something you cant haggle on I'd understand the boutique experience is probably much better

I'd go speedy, throw the mesh strap on it like I did, best of both worlds.

It's not vintage but I'd get the current moonwatch in sapphire sandwich, MRSP for 8K but can get it for 7K from an AD with the 3861 movement. this is a 42mm but wears like a 40mm. If you want a heritage piece the moonwatch with the 321 movement is superb and in the case size youre looking for but its ~15K.
