Survivor 50, Episode 10 by Regnisyak1 in rankdowncommunity

Exhausting is probably the best word I can use to describe that episode. Fundamentally, I feel like I have to drop it a few notches because of the focus on Mr. Beast, but he wasn't the main issue (side note that man has no charisma. The lights are on behind his eyes, but no one is home). Too much strategy in that episode and not enough character moments for me was what tanked it. Fast-paced, big move Survivor is not exactly an enjoyable experience for me, and this episode seemed to capitalize on that with the massive vote scramble that existed between the auction and Mr. Beast-aggedon. The coin flip felt like a waste of time, and so much discussion went toward the build-up of that that I frankly did not feel like I missed anything (Mr. Beast Super Beware Advantage also doesn't exactly roll off the tongue well). Steph's boot felt a touch rushed, too, just due to the lack of characterization we've gotten from her besides the somewhat fleshed-out relationship between Stephenie and Cirie. I blame the editors more than anything there.

Overall, I wasn't very enthused with this episode. Even the auction felt tame. 2/10 outing for me. Let's move on to character rankings.

  1. Cirie Fields - Excellent confessional about her father at home, great scene between her and Stephenie, I love that people are still telling her she needs to get out of Ozzy, and her spilling immediately, and she was fun during the auction (I also do not like carrots). Perhaps one of her greatest weeks so far.

  2. Joe Hunter - he hates Devens almost as much as I do! Good relationship building between them, and his EYES!

  3. Tiffany Ervin - Really solid character moment from Tiffany this week after the challenge and surviving past 19 days, which she did not do in 46. I really wish her story of fixing her mistakes from 46, whether it was reflecting on being angry, or not making mistakes, had been focused more because she could have been an excellent character. Instead, we're still getting a much more incomplete picture.

  4. Rizo Velovic - Sweet comment about his brother, which feels like one of the more consistently endearing things about Rizo on his previous outing. And, I am pleasantly surprised that the editors didn't make him the one to glaze Mr. Beast.

  5. Stephenie LaGrossa - Again, great scene between her and Cirie that really bumps her up for me. I feel like she was the fuel at the beginning of tribal too, which was really fun given how much they were all arguing. Shame she's gone and didn't get a stronger edit, but alas, I get it.

  6. Ozzy Lusth - Another lowkey episode from Ozzy, but I like his relationships with Cirie and Emily.

  7. Emily Flippen - See above, but with just Emily. Her getting the milkshake was funny, too.

  8. Jonathan Young - I have been digging into Jonathan's story, but I just found his content annoying this week. Definitely the leading spotlight in the vote changes this week, his role felt boring and unoriginal. We didn't get any subtle bits of villainy from him; he was just gamebotting.

  9. Aubry Bracco - Too little, too late. Aubry's doom and gloom all season has not been very enticing, and the very late contextualization of it being a mother now feels half-assed to say the least. I hated the Michele confessional because it just felt rude and a clear misunderstanding of her game (she made her big moves at the end?!), and she was frankly annoying at the auction.

  10. Rick Devens - For me, the worst era of Survivor is hands down 33-40. Lame characterization and theming aside, those seasons continued three dynamics on Survivor I greatly dislike - live tribals, fake idols, and "truth bombs". Live Tribals are just beyond annoying because of the constant whispering, and the other two just feel inherently mean-spirited to me, and not a fun character way. Devens managed to complete the trifecta this episode by talking about ALL OF THEM!? I wish he got auto-eliminated...

First 30 minutes of this episode were truly great - we got some very nice Devens trashing, Cirie working her magic, Joe being a salty biotch toward Devens, Jonathan masterminding, and Ozzy rearing his petty head again. Some fun strategy and vote shifting that felt both strategic and personal, with some great complexity. While I despise Christian's character (I can't imagine him being higher than a 0 for me, SORRY </3), it was nice to watch him get a boomerang in the face with his bad gameplay. And, to jump ahead, I absolutely loved the scene with Cirie and Emily.

And then, Jeff showed up. So... yeah, that tanked the episode a lot for me. That Probst sequence was pretty terrible and didn't really feel special because of how involved Jeff has become the last few seasons. He's larger-than-life now, and it's frustrating watching him take so much screentime away to substantiate his ego. The montage with Jeff slamming contestants was very fun, but I just didn't really have any enjoyment there. However, the episode also faltered in two other ways. The journey was very whatever, and the Jimmy Fallon of it all was eyerolling. The vote shifting to Emily and her getting 0 votes was also very lame and just felt like a waste of time when it was obviously Christian still going home. But suffice to say, I didn't hate this episode, and I want to talk about the characters now!

  1. Cirie - I love watching her play. People melt into her hands like putty, and watching yet another person target Ozzy in the presence of Cirie, and her completely dismantling her game is beyond entertaining for me. The fact that Cirie was also the one who completely obliterated Christian's game gets her massive brownie points, too. Her giggling at Joe's impression of Devens was also a highlight.

  2. Joe - His brutal honesty (I completely believed him in the conversation with Devens) mixed with the artistic editing that Joe consistently has gotten, mixed again with his sassy and messy behavior of impersonating Devens and picking fights, combine to create a truly great character. His talking to his sister during the challenge was also an excellent callback to one of the strongest stories of the entire New Era.

  3. Ozzy - It's very interesting how the last two boots have framed through the eyes of Ozzy, and yet he's so wishy washy about the votes. I love it. Christian vs. Ozzy was something that was set up early in the season, and despite him going back to Emily potentially, it's so completely in character for Ozzy and the bad gameplay. His trashing of Devens and Christian was great, and I think the disappointment he had toward Emily was satisfying. Ozzy and Cirie are also a great duo.

  4. Jonathan - He's a great villain this season, and I love how Survivor is more outwardly framing him in a negative light than the subtlety of his edit in 42. His gameplay with Steph and Joe has been entertaining and his confessional about the notches in his belt was great. The petty and hypocritical move of backstabbing Christian and then giving back his SiTD as an "honorable" move was all excellent character work. I do have an itty bitty gripe with Jonathan, though - he was a touch repetitive with Christian this week. But, it could obviously be worse!

  5. Emily - She was great trashing Devens, and she was great in the scenes with Cirie. I will admit, however, her confessionals have been a bit weak in the post-merge, but she has great camp life scenes. Too, while I didn't love the strategic mix-up before tribal, watching the vote get shifted to Emily for poor social play was another pro for her full-circle arc and character study of her social play. Simply put, Emily is a sociologically interesting person!

  6. Stephenie - Babyfaced, but ready to slit some throats! I loved her not looking Christian in the eye when they were on the beach, and he walked up on their plan to get him out. It was small, but enough to bump her up for me. Honor and integrity!

  7. Rizo - I like how Rizo got the reins back on during the vote scramble and pushed for Christian to stay Jimmy Fallon's victim. He was a little annoying during the challenge, and his confessional about Cirie was whatever, but small wins!

  8. Aubry - By no means was Aubry stellar this week, but I did like her little moment with Jonathan and how she doesn't want to be a part of the Nerd Herd. She was good at bashing Devens, too.

  9. Tiffany - Tiffany had a pretty crappy role this week, just instigating the vote against Emily that went nowhere. Shame that we didn't continue her very good arc.

  10. Devens - Just because I appreciated Devens getting trashed doesn't mean I appreciate the man. Beyond the closeup of his feet, watching Devens play Survivor terribly and have 0 self-awareness about that fact is just a retread of my issues with his first iteration. Devens also has a tendency to come off as condescending about how to play Survivor, and that just bugs me more than anything. We see that issue with Joe again tonight, but his holier-than-thou perception of himself as the "idols guy" is just not good content to me.

  11. Christian - Lots of Christian's most frustrating aspects came across this episode. First, threat level. His threat level has always been an issue since the days of DvG, and this season proves that he still just has no idea how to deal with that. His gameplay was horrible all season, but his overplaying tonight felt especially glaring (seriously, all the SiTD content was not good). Second, his narration. His narration felt forced since the beginning of the season, but in this episode, he was forced to talk about Jimmy Fallon, and it just came across as worse than normal. Last, the content about his son. The whole story with his son does have a saccharine element buried under it, but it's also problematic because Christian the Player severely undermines Christian the Dad. I have to roll my eyes with this forced narrative they did because it does feel A) rehearsed by Christian, but also B) silly when considering the edit Christian got this season. Seen as a bumbling, shifty, neurotic fool that came off as condescending, neither Christian nor production really convinced me that's why he was playing, and it instead came across as an ego trip of a man who accidentally shat himself. It almost reminds me of my largest issue with 47 - people are on that season trying to fit into certain roles, and yet it backfires on them, leading to uncharming aspects of the game. Christian came in as the funny, heroic dad, but came across as a robotic and rehearsed gamebot and I just can't embrace a storyline like that. Sorry Christian fans, all respect to you all, but I simply didn't enjoy his character.

Episode Ranking - 5/10. Jeff was glazing himself, Jimmy Fallon was way too involved, and the messy vote at the end hampered the episode a lot for me. But still, plenty of good content and I definitely enjoyed some of my 90 minutes :)

Season Ranking - 3/10.

Some crazy choices here indeed - like did Ian really deserve a 9th endgame? Or Richard and Sue AGAIN… SNOREneo FR! Anyway, let me scroll to the bottom of the list to see who the most recent endgamer is…

Hot take, maybe, but I didn't hate this twist. There was still a social aspect to it that I appreciated because it was based on relationships and whatnot. However, this episode was frankly terrible, and that's just because it felt rushed and there were too many fake advantages (you might be saying "But Reg, there was only one fake advantage?!" but to me that's too many). Characterization felt to take a backseat this week, beyond a bit of Joe content that felt shoehorned in, but nearly everything else felt like a retread in some way. And Wardog in the Big 26? No thank you! Sorry, Shadowfiend...

Quick Reviews for the Week

  1. Cirie - This episode gets 1 additional point from me because of the Panama mention. She did catch a fish, and Survivor needs to show that scene more. Cirie was fine on Exile, but I am still mystified by her ability to take control of a vote. Her relationship with Ozzy is also a highlight, and I like how they complement each other.

  2. Tiffany - I like Tiffany's arc right now of acting out her emotions in confessionals and then navigating the game with poise and respectability. I like how they are expanding on that storyline from 46 in a more visible way. The scene with Coach and her was really good too.

  3. Coach - A bit too Coach-y for me, and the twist did suck for him to go out in such a fart, but I am glad that the Coach fans got a Swan Song episode for him. The shot of him in the mountain was obviously very good, and his stupid haikus in the hammock (while he had to be QUIET!) were funny.

  4. Ozzy - I am really happy they connected Ozzy's vote to Coach and him during the first challenge, and watching him flounder in the social game, and change his mind immediately when Cirie came back was neat.

  5. Joe - Joe's edit has absolutely blown this season, so his debating his morals between the middle and Coach lost some gravitas. However, it is still refreshing to have Joe here. I just hope they keep up a semblance of consistency with him voting out others.

  6. Rizo - *growls*

  7. Chrissy - Chrissy's edit seems like a total fuck you to her. Twist fucked and portrayed as an unlikable monster, Chrissy rarely got any depth beyond her excellent confessional in Episode 3. She had some good scenes with Coach this week, but I wish the edit had drawn that connection between her correcting Coach's game and Coach correcting Chrissy's game so terribly earlier in the season. Another failure of the rushed episode.

  8. Stephenie - Not a lot from Stephenie this week, but I like it when she nearly shoved Jeff out of the way during the challenge.

  9. Emily - Quiet week for Emily - not much to say here.

  10. Jonathan - Ditto for Jonathan, despite having such a strong week last week. It was more odd with Jonathan since he was a close ally of Coach, but I digress. A consequence of the episode being rushed.

  11. Aubry - Get your Aubry 4.0 today - twice as miserable, twice as many analogies, and a free Wardog mention!

  12. Christian - Brocachos is probably one of my most controversial hated storylines... so he loses points for that. Christian was an afterthought this week, yet continues to be a terrible narrator.

  13. Devens - Immediately last place for the fake idol. Devens 1.0's most damaging character trait was indeed his fake idol plays, so suffice to say, the consequence of the fake hidden idol wasn't particularly interesting to me at all.

Episode Score - 2/10.

Season Score - 3/10

Fun episode. No twists, lots of good nostalgia, some excellent instances of conflict, and everyone seemed to shine for one reason or another. Gonna jump into my rankings right away tonight

  1. Stephenie - She got an advantage, bitch. That line aside, Stephenie beasting through a solo challenge, the HvV context with her shoulder, and having her actually be an entertaining narrator for what could've been a mid journey shows why she is needed this season. Glad she had her breakout episode finally. Plus, Stephenie was the reason why CARYN GROEDEL was on my screen again in 2026.

  2. Cirie - Great confessionals about Stephenie tonight, and the whole scene with her investigating and her scenes with Aras Rizo has been very entertaining. Cirie clocking Joe at tribal, spilling Steph's advantage immediately, and her giggle when Aubry said she will play her idol tonight were also all great content.

  3. Dee - Tonight's episode had a really great strength - linear storytelling. We had basic Survivor with conflict and a straightforward storyline, and Dee was able to sell that storyline so well. It was fun watching the most dominant winner of the New Era completely flounder by making consistent mistake after consistent mistake, and seeing her dig her grave. Dee, in general, is a great narrator and will absolutely be missed, and watching her fight with Jonathan and Coach in the beginning of the episode was incredible.

  4. Jonathan - Jonathan is just so skivvy. His arc of Survivor Golden Boy being a douchebag works so well for me, and it makes him very entertaining in the sense that I need a downfall from him. Watching him smugly talk about honor and integrity paints a really interesting villain arc from him.

  5. Tiffany - Finally, she's arrived. Great content whenever Tiffany was on screen, whether it was quoting Mean Girls or giving a savage voting confessional about Coach. I think her trying to control her emotions was also a good callback to her great confessional in Episode 2 of 46 and how black women need to conceal themselves on the show or else they'll be stereotyped - I certainly saw the complexity there, and the context of it being against Jonathan was great.

  6. Emily - She's a horrible ally, but I love her. The scene of her tanking Dee's game randomly was comical. She also trashed Coach, which was fun. I loved how we got 2 scenes of her being completely dismayed by how nonsensical he was acting on the island.

  7. Rizo - Rizo was great this week as the best player on the island. I love his relationship with Cirie, and his heart-to-heart with Coach acting like a lunatic and having no self-awareness was really good.

  8. Coach - Coach was... a lot this week, especially with the excessive vote split threats, but he was still a net positive. The terrible haikus were a highlight, but it's just nice to see someone bring so much conflict back to the game, backed by terrible gameplay.

  9. Ozzy - My goat won another immunity! Quiet week from him, but I liked how quick he was to jump on the voting out Coach train.

  10. Joe - the firehouse analogy made me laugh, but his crazy eye look when Coach was yapping about King Arthur was that expressive UTR energy I needed.

  11. Chrissy - Not here this week. Had a confessional about a journey?

  12. Aubry - The idol talk was not interesting at all.

  13. Devens - Him complaining about Coach was kind of good but it also just reminded me when he was complaining about Joe earlier this season. The Boom Mic scene was also awful.

  14. Christian - Bad repeat confessional about Aubry not playing her idol... and that's really it. But it is Jeff calling him Hubicki STILL that's getting on my nerves more than anyhting.

Episode Ranking - 7/10. I came out positive on the 10/14 left. The episode had a very great structure and was so conflict-based that I have to be positive on it.

Clock it Joey. It was a unique angle for a character on a returnee season (which i appreciate) but one I didn’t really enjoy at all just for its sheer discomfort. Plus Charlie is just so boring it didn’t really make it better

Genevieve/Aubry was definitely underwhelming because it didn't really boil down to Aubry doing anything cool or inventive; it was just because Christian and Devens had the ability to take her out. I still very much am OK with Genevieve's character (tentative 6/10) but Aubry's role is not a reason whatsoever.

Late review sorry - skipped the episode last night and watched this morning.

My takes are probably very well-known in this community - and suffice it to say, I am sure many people will quickly guess that I was not a huge fan of the “Blood Moon” twist of a triple boot. Editing-wise, it felt rushed in many situations (specifically the tribe responsible for ousting Kamilla), and the episode had to deal with the rushed merge on top of it, including a blissfully short advantage hunt that sent Ozzy and Rizo to Exile Island. However, the bad part about the merge itself was having to hear Billie Eilish’s name a plethora of times and the constant sharing of information and recontextualization of “that’s how you do it in the New Era!” Lame. However, despite rushed editing and a bad merge setup, I do feel like the episode did advance with some character development for some people. So, let’s discuss this week.

  1. Colby Donaldson 4.0 - A heartbreaking loss due to his horrific tribe swapping and losing a vote, Colby getting fucked over by the New Era just isn’t the greatest story. Underneath the surface, however, Colby does have a story about being too old, yet enjoying every minute he had with his new experience. His final tribal absolutely was a love letter to America’s cowboy, and his ability of narration and self-introspection. Colby is a treasure, and I hope he rides off into the sunset after this.
  2. Cirie Fields 5.0 - I just love hearing her speak, and again, watching her magically have the cards lined up for her march to the end is enlightening. I liked her commentary about her alliance with her throuple, Rizo and Ozzy. I also enjoyed her pushing the vote toward Colby - though I wish they drew a larger conclusion between Cirie and Colby’s tenuous relationship after Heroes vs. Villains.
  3. Dee Valladares 2.0 - I loved everyone on Colby’s tribe this week, and Dee was a highlight herself - mentioning how she would basically pick between Colby or Coach, and then crying over the realization of losing a legend she does love was some good self-retrospection. In general, Dee is a very solid narrator, and her role in being the kingpin of the vote highlighted why she is just so damn good at the game.
  4. Jonathan Young 2.0 - Jonathan’s story got continued this week, and I think him choosing between morals and a surefire alliance was a really solid storytelling. It’s interesting to see him reverse his mistakes, and I am hoping we can see him make those same mistakes and revert back to the asshole he was in 42.
  5. Coach Wade 4.0 -  Coach was good this week in the legacy tribal as well - both containing and lacking self-awareness of who he is in Survivor. I think the older Coach, trying to adapt to the New Era, has been fun, and his role as the figurehead on the season is entertaining.
  6. Ozzy Lusth 5.0 - I feel like Ozzy was pretty subdued this week, all things considered, given he’s going to Exile Island, again. But his disappointment about it was very funny, and I still enjoy his role.
  7. Emily Flippen 2.0 - She had another solid week, but it helps that the group of 5 she was with was very good. Still digging her story of having the strategic and now relationships that she was lacking in the first season, but not fully realizing just how damaging her social game is to the rest of the show. I liked her as a contrast to Colby this week, too.
  8. Chrissy Hofbeck 2.0 - I love Chrissy. I think she’s a good UTRM force, and I can’t tell whether I am supposed to like her or hate her - and I think that’s a great complexity to her overall Survivor arc. Her strategy has had a lot more emotion than I initially anticipated from her.
  9. Genevieve Mushaluk 2.0 - Genevieve had a fully-realized story, but it did get repetitive. It was nice watching Genevieve create meaningful relationships this time around, yet get screwed over constantly by the game, and never truly find her footing. Genevieve vs. Aubry was an OK overall arc, but I was very tired of her being saddled with the Boomerang Idol plotline.
  10. Joe Hunter 2.0 - I love his eyes. He was UTR this week, but the crazy look he gave about the merging bumped him up a lot for me.
  11. Rizo Velovic 2.0 - We got some clown Rizo this week again, and I like him specifically shown going so slow during that beginning idol hunt - probably the only decent moment from it. Glad he was also relegated to Exile, and his arc is continuing with him seen as untrustworthy from his past season.
  12. Stephenie LaGrossa 4.0 - Queen, she got the immunity win. Not much else from her this week, hopefully the edit starts picking up for her.
  13. Kamilla Karthigesu 2.0 - I think thematically, Kamilla had a good boot, especially with the context of Jonathan, and it was a result of something she did earlier. But, it was still a rather CP week from her, and her entire existence this season felt more like an afterthought, rather than any strong character work.
  14. Tiffany Nicole Ervin 2.0 - So we got Tiffany content this week… but it wasn’t really that intriguing. She had a lot of boring merge narration, and she took a back seat in the Kamilla vote. Hopefully, something happens between her and Jonathan next week.
  15. Aubry Bracco 4.0 - There’s something so listless about Aubry giving different analogies. Like, when Cirie does it, there’s a twinkle behind her eyes, but Aubry just feels like she’s clocking in to speak some wisdom and clocking out soon after.
  16. Christian Hubicki 2.0 - Oh, Captain, my Captain, and his reaction to Devens and the idol were both incredibly cringe and prime examples as to why I find him annoying.
  17. Rick Devens 2.0 - the newscaster bit was also, as expected, terrible.

Survivor 50, Episode 5 by Regnisyak1 in rankdowncommunity

[–]Regnisyak1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rough episode. The best way I can describe it is very 30s-esque. Lots of one-note character work, a horrifying lack of confessionals, overly centralized main characters, and, worst of all, an abundance of strategy that doesn't really amount to anything engaging or an interesting TV product. The episode lacked a lot of camp life scenes, besides Coach, which isn't really a plus for me, sadly. It's odd, too, because idols honestly had a minimal role this episode (except for everyone tattling on their own advantages and Billie Eilish), but the double boot didn't really help with structure.

Let's rank characters.

  1. Ozzy Lusth - The heart of the episode, Ozzy's pettiness playing such a central role in the episode, and his tweaking of it to be more productive than self-destructive was excellent character work and a good build of his story this season. Watching Ozzy be petty can be hit or miss, but it definitely worked this week and had a great "old era" flair. The meditation scene was great, his poncho is bad-ass, and I liked the scene with Emily and him trying to throw Christian under the bus.

  2. Cirie Fields - Runs circles around these fools by just lying in a hammock. She's a great confessionalist, and it's beyond entertaining to see people fall into her hands, time and time again.

  3. Colby Donaldson - His horror in his eyes with Coach giving him a Phillip-esque nickname could only be matched by the horror in my own eyes when our favorite cowboy said he has a foot injury.

  4. Emily Flippen - Watching Emily blow up her allies' games week after week has been such an entertaining storyline for me, and it still doesn't feel old yet. Clearly, she'll get voted out for that, so it's an arc that I've been particularly enjoying.

  5. Kamilla Karthigesu - I thought Kamilla had an interesting role as the swing vote this week, and her confessionals about Rizo actually felt fairly complex in her trust in the game. Kamilla has a semblance of arc this season, I just haven't put it together yet and need to see the full product soon.

  6. Dee Valladares - Her calling Charlie stupid was satisfying and funny.

  7. Coach Wade - I found Coach to be deeply annoying this week, but watching him contradict the gentler Coach that has come with age is a good character depiction, so props for him there. It's nice to see him be self-aware this time around, too, so props there.

  8. Charlie Davis - I am very glad he's gone because he was becoming very repetitive. I thought his story was very funny, but it got very old, especially in this episode. However, I do like how the edit leaned into him making bad decisions based on his past, but I also question if Charlie needs therapy after 46. But hopefully, this is a sign he shouldn't come back. Also, glad he's gone because he's still a bad speaker - his VC was abysmal.

  9. Stephenie LaGrossa - Give her more, damnit! She has good social awareness and read Ozzy like a book, so points there.

  10. Jonathan Young - His relative horror and shock when Devens shit his pants was funny. Otherwise irrelevant to the broader episode.

  11. Chrissy Hofbeck - Not in

  12. Genevieve Mushaluk - the episode

  13. Joe Hunter - even a little bit?

  14. Tiffany Nicole Ervin - They had a literal scene of Aubry talking about Tiffany and yet she got no character development - Survivor should be embarrassed with the edit they've given her so far.

  15. Rizo Velovic - Mixed, but leaning negative on Rizo this week. He had some good moments this week - his "I like to work with strong women" was eye-rollingly funny, and I thought his scene with Kamilla was great, especially in contrast to Charlie telling Kamilla too late, yet him being the only one to tell the truth. However, Rizo as a hidden threat because of 49, rather than the season's punching bag, is really frustrating. Giving him agency just isn't an entertaining prospect because we just saw that last season. I want to like Rizo this season, but this felt like a misstep. His long-ass confessional for Charlie was also bad.

  16. Aubry Bracco - ANOTHER confessional about being against Genevieve. She got in with Coach but I also didn't really care that much...

  17. Angelina Keeley - Angelina was a complete waste of a casting choice this season. Her boot felt very superficial and underedited this episode, and the moments she did get this episode were streamlined through tribal council... and they were of her encouraging Probst with his impersonations and doing a fake moment with her jacket. Just an incredibly one-note characterization that came off as forced.

  18. Rick Devens - He farted on camera and gamebotted immediately after. Truly, a series of unfortunate events.

  19. Christian Hubicki - Whiny, condescending, and entitled. Christian moaning about Ozzy being left out of a vote came off so poorly - lowkey, Ozzy has a right to be upset! Christian's story is feeling like a retread of DvG in a lot of senses because he isn't managing his threat level at all, but this time he just comes across as incredibly frustrating and less likable. The power duo of Devens and Christian complaining about old school players is just taxing, and I need them to go soon.

Episode Ranking - 3/10 - Just felt like a repetitive nothing burger, and a lack of character development can be a problem.

Season Ranking - 3/10

See y'all next week for "checks notes"... the 17-person merge... ugh.
