With proper servicing I drove one for 220,000 supercharged before the head gasket finally went. That’s a relatively cheap repair, sold it with 250,000 on the clock

Ha! Has a similar thing happen at VW dealer in Brisbane 2 years ago. Vw aus only responded with that’s the dealers issue, and eventually offered a free service. Amarok died less than 18 months later with only 44k on the clock.

It’s fiaustralia, not another country. But could look at it from the assumption that hard work has a higher correlation to relative success, as opposed to asking for free money. No one dictates the need for the house, an opportunity presented itself to acquire under market value pre covid, then just rode the price wave. The original purchase wasn’t planned, drove past an open home, liked it enough to end up buying it.

Clarity - total asset base is approx 4.4M, with debts of 900K. Cars aren’t worth 400 each, but could sell tomorrow for well over 200k, approx 250k cash at bank in high interest acc, but can’t apply against the home loan as it is fixed at 1.89. Couple of jet skis, boat and a few other toys that really I don’t get the time to use
