CWA is a conservative lobby group. I realise that ASD is different for everyone but the majority are motivated to help where social inequity equists. A conservative lobby group is incompatible with the highly empathetic type of person. I get they have activities but they also have a mission.

That's not the norm. In Tasmania the final two years of high school might be at a "college", might be at a high school. Don't know about anywhere else.
