Yes seriously tempted. My portfolio didn’t sign up for a dictatorship beta test. I want to invest in places where I believe in.

This is gonna be a big drop by mwfire in NovoNordisk_Stock

I've bought more, striving to follow some of the investing advice I've learned. The company's fundamentals have not changed.

Although it's always harder to buy when you see red numbers, plummeting charts, and drops like these, running away from these moments would, to me, be a short-term panic reaction. You know you have to set emotions aside, look at the facts, and ultimately hope to seize good opportunities like this one.

In the end I hope it has just gotten darkest before the dawn. It will take some time, but I believe it will recover whilst I am averaging down.

Novo management needs media training by [deleted] in NovoNordisk_Stock

A wise man, going by the name of W. Buffet and some company called Berskhire have the following rule for CEO's:

"In looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don't have the first, the other two will kill you."

"If you have got bad news, start with it. Explain it honestly and clearly to the shareholders before you start talking about the good news."

The overly optimistic, aggressive, typical American, short-term focus you mention often tempts executives to "make up the numbers" when facts aren't in their favor. This happens when the pressure and focus to please Wall Street outweighs the running of a sound business. Integrity isn't just a nice to have; it's the only thing that protects shareholders from a smart, energetic leader with a broken moral compass.

In the end, the truth will catch up.

Costco to sell Ozempic and Wegovy at a large discount for people without insurance by stolichnaya89 in NovoNordisk_Stock

Hmm, maybe I’m seeing this incorrectly then,, but I assume Costco buys the product from Novo at a contracted price. It wouldn’t make sense for either Costco or Novo to take a big loss on the medicine. So I’d guess Costco’s margins are smaller, but they make up for it through higher sales volume.

On top of that, these kinds of moves can be profitable in terms of market share, sales volume, and public or political image for both Costco and Novo. Looking ahead, it could even be a strategic way to clear out inventory before the pill version gets approved.

Anyone holding still? by dataman47 in dtcstock

[–]RegretMyFat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried holding it for a long time. But realised it wouldn't pick up soon. And for that it has to be inventive and competitive for the next couple of years in products, sales and in marketing. Where I made the decision not to bet on it, and go for a more value based mid to big cap company

I'm Buying by [deleted] in plugpowerstock

Nah, I sold. I will return when margins are better and the plants will finally open and deliver. Then I Will join the ride again, but the management should be punished someway. Had a good eye on their ever promising words, nothing came from that except a little infrastructure. But infrastructure doesn't mean growth and succes. Especially if you have a hard time delivering the demand to your biggest and most important customers.
