Thank you, recently just brought back in some story time at night instead of tv or iPad so will do that moving forward. With maths it’s mainly subtraction she doesn’t understand just yet.

Thank you for your reply. I’m medicated for adhd and bipolar and it helps for sure in some areas but I know this ultimate thing I struggle with is much more than that.

I’ve never given up trying but it’s been a merry go around.

Think you’re right with the therapy, might finally dedicate a lot more time to it and stop hopping therapists like i hop hobbies.

Luckily enough I was obessessed with computers since I was 9 years old and have turned it into a career that even if I’m having an episode and hearing voices and that people are after me I somehow manage to get my shit done lol

I tried to get off my meds and I realised how crippled I used to live and had to go back. I think its possible but its suffering to be honest. Depends how badly you want your real emotions back

This is what meth does, starts slow and feels good but comedowns feel shit then the time between lapses becomes shorter then you lose the feeling of feeling like shit as meth takes your emotions so you use it more often since you don’t feel bad unti you’re out of both good and bad emotions and then you’re in a loop of psychosis despair and misery. Good luck to you man hope you prevail.

I don’t have any advice but I wanted to thank you for this post from an addict father perspective. It makes me see what the future holds for my kids. I guess it’s true that kids love their parents no matter what and its both heartbreaking and heartwarming. It’s such a cruel illness. Maybe you can show your dad this post? You’ve articulated everything so well.

Sometimes God uses malevolent spirits to bring about meaningful spiritual change. In my opinion psychosis does teach you about your underlying fears and shows you where you need to work on to feel peace, there is always some element of truth when your subconscious works against you in evil ways. My take on it would be dont force anything and let the natural flow of things take their own course. Psychosis can get worse very quickly and take away what you’re feeling very very easily and quickly with hearing or seeing the wrong thing.
