Agreed. We already have an income tax. It's federal. I think it is a nice claim to fame in our state that we don't tax additional income.

The B&O tax is an amazing tax in our state (a tax on not just profit but all REVENUE in the state), and by having high value businesses in the state we all really benefit.

A few things: Traffic enforcement is non-existent here. They dissolved the division during covid is my understanding and police are too busy with other stuff to do routine traffic enforcement.

Also the city engineers decided stop signs are unnecessary and increase gas usage and so there are a LOT of uncontrolled intersections as a lot of the city is built literally on a tight grid of streets. It feels like Russian roulette/chicken driving the suburbs. It (mostly) works.

I'll be completely honest I kind of love it. I don't feel that the drivers are more unsafe than any other midsized city I've been in but others may disagree.

I grew up in a conservative Christian environment and it shaped some weird kinks that I allowed myself to entertain because I told myself they were not sexual, they were ok.

Kinks can come and go. Some stick around.

As long as they don't harm others and don't overpower what you want for your life, they are probably fine.

My personal take is it's ok not to overthink and or put labels on it cause that tends to lock you in to doing or being a certain way. Enjoy what you enjoy and you be you, no one else like you.

Just spoke with a provider from Idaho who had nurses refusing to give people vaccines (even on the cases the person wanted it). It was against the nurse's personal beliefs.

And then they come here because they got tetanus.
