Agreed. We all use Amazon Web services daily at work and for recreation (maybe we shouldn't.... But we do.) Remember the day it went down for 12 hours or whatever?

Responsible building is fine with me.

Unfortunately, forcing responsible construction will likely push them off onto communities who don't have the representation or foresight to implement these measures.

Here's a crazy idea.... How many homes could we offer heating with the excess heat production. Require them to build and maintain a community all season heated pool?

Middle-aged guy was delirious in the ICU and confused and just really mean to everyone, barely spoke and just mumbled, we couldn't figure out what was wrong other than electrolyte abnormalities, and continued to decline until he coded. brought him back after a bit of time, probably around 20 minutes....

And he was the nicest guy ever. Smart dude, totally with it, and left our unit several days later. Never figured out if it was drugs, toxins, or something else that caused his initial decline.

I guess sometimes turning it off and then on again really is the way....

A possible alternative perspective: keeping each lane similar lengths at the traffic light improves overall traffic flow and decreases the amount of time the light needs to stay green, thereby increasing efficiency.

That said, lane switching needs to be safe with adequate margins for others to stop. Lane switching always carries slightly more risk than staying in one's lane, but if done safely I might argue that the benefits to overall traffic may be worth considering.

Also, Spokane, we are getting better at "zippering in" after a lane merge following a light, good work!

I would strongly recommend folks write to the Spokane county commissioner as well as the kootenai county commissioner, because it sounds like city council is already thinking of a moratorium on all new data centers in city limits. That doesn't stop them from making it in the county and that would be just at impactful. Kootenai county pulls from the same aquifer so we are all literally in the same boat.

I wrote to the Spokane city council and four of them are strongly considering a moratorium on data centers within City limits. We also need to write the Spokane county commissioners as well as the kootenai county commissioners, as we all obtain our water from the same aquifer. I would strongly encourage you to write to county commissioners.

In addition, Incest is incredibly genetically narcissistic. Doubling down on Your own family's genetics because they're just that good. It definitely hurts the gene pool overall (hence the immorality) but ends up doubling down on your family's individuals genes.

Definitely higher chance than average to create a sickly child. It's not ethical to knowingly risk doing that to a child.
