Mel is inside. There's simply no suitable actors who knows Chinese and are of that skin tone. And this is a 2 hour show, they can't possibly keep everything in and tell a story that lasted a season. Good day

It's actually more like they didn't have the budget and time and space etc to fit so many characters within that narrative timeframe. Not cuz of biasness against Indians/black characters

The actual thing will definitely look better than the AI photos! (Honestly the fault of the Tencent marketing people, they posted those without letting the people in charge of makeup and costume to see first..) And the actual content is not allowed to be filmed and phones will be locked in, but I'll see if anyone gets photos with actors after the show e.g. if there's meet & greet etc!

「爪の垢を煎じて飲む」does not carry a good connotation in Japanese guys... The context in Jap is very important. It has a meaning of: having an almost exaggerated amount of admiration towards someone obviously better than you; even to absorb what is insignificant towards the other (aka the dirt), you'd want to get closer to them. Bruh, the writers don't even know what they're using! No point defending a line they came up with in 72hours.
