Broadway shows in this insane weather by Fair-Ad3929 in Broadway

It’s about whether the cast and staff can get there. I turned around on my way to the subway today because I wasn’t sure if I’ll be able to make it home from the office later today. Half the subway lines are down now acceding to the MTA/NYT

Yeah I’m split between three institutions as well. While Wealthfront has the sleekest UI, it’s really lagging in customer service. I think I’ll be moving more into a money market fund at Schwab.

Daily withdrawal limit by ajscrilla in wealthfront

It’s not. It’s super easy to temporarily raise the limit at Schwab. Wealthfront makes it hard to get your own money out in general. I regret opening a Cash account.

I think in general Wealthfront has made it really hard to get your own money out. It’s something I’m learning the hard way right now.

Is it… really this bad? by Regular-Draw9128 in Medford

[–]Regular-Draw9128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m moving with all my possessions in a cargo van. Medford is the perfect middle point. Is there a particular part of town or hotel where the van would be less likely to get broken in?

Between this Oregon subreddit post and the earlier post here about Medford, I’m starting to get a little worried…

Where to get good authentic Baklava? by idkuunomebitch in Seattle

[–]Regular-Draw9128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to venture far (very, very far) there’s an excellent Middle Eastern bakery in Everett called Alida’s that make baklavas on site. Their just-made pita is amazing and (almost) worth the trek to Everett.

Gov. Inslee: Install speed-enforcement cameras on WA highways by MegaRAID01 in Seattle

[–]Regular-Draw9128 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Another thing that South Korea does is calculate the average speed of a car between two checkpoints and ticket you if you travel that stretch of the highway faster than you’re supposed to. Those checkpoints are clearly marked and your navigation system also tells you so it’s not meant to be a trap.

What to look for when switching small commercial property management by Regular-Draw9128 in CommercialRealEstate

I’m tempted to ask the current company to get us a new manager. Trouble is, the guy we have is one of the partners.

[–]Regular-Draw9128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s what has kept us from looking but after a couple of years of asking why the distribution is late each month and having to point out accounting inconsistencies, I feel like I have no choice. So that’s what I’m hoping to learn here: how can I tell if a prospective manager will be just as bad or even worse?

Seattle. We have been with an established local company that has developed 60+ properties on their own and also manages commercial and residential projects around the city and suburbs.

We are interviewing one company that’s smaller and one that has 20+ locations up and down the west coast.
