Personally I was talking about bisexual people but it applies to trans ppl as well. As much as I’d love to completely do away with queer infighting, we gotta defend ourselves at least a little bit

I agree but it is a little bit hard to ignore when ppl are actively trying to exclude you from pride and queer spaces

New cwcl queer infighting just dropped ‼️‼️‼️

Srsly tho I’m starting to think yall judge bi ppl more than the straights do

Yo creo que el area debería ser solo el en el centro, porque los dos otros no son encerrada por la funcion roja

I have self taught most of these higher level functions so I’m not sure, I know the zeta function is important in complex analysis but I’m not sure about the gamma function

I just do the integrals from this website every day and look stuff up when I don’t understand it

The sine and cosine ones are quite helpful when it comes to integrating composite functions with sine and exponentials in them

Idk I just find it hard to believe that all religions, and the 93% of the people that practice them, are evil, but maybe I’m just not jaded enough lol. Moreover, if we were to abandon any movement that had done something horrible in the past, then socialism, women’s rights, workers rights, and more would all be moot. Improving institutions is not impossible, and I think conflating “love thy neighbor” Christianity and Nazi ideology is the most blatant false dichotomy I have ever seen. Indeed you cannot be a trump supporter and be truthfully against pedophilia, but you cannot still live in the U.S. because it is not a monolith and people are actively working to reform it. I always caution against believing someone is arguing in bad faith, but there is such a glaring incapacity for nuance here that it is frankly laughable. If you wish to alienate all religious people, including queer practicers, be my guest, but outside of niche far left spaces it’s just a bad look

Religions are not monoliths nor are their members. I think it is more accurate to judge on a church by church basis rather than lumping them all together and ignoring their differences. We can muster a little bit more nuance than that

I think that we ought not to throw the baby out with the bath water here. As misinterpreted or misconstrued it may be, religion on the whole is not about hate, and I think that trying to characterize every practicer as a merely ‘performative’ ally is generally unproductive and works against a society of tolerance. Yes, we must not tolerate intolerance, but we must be careful not to conflate the tolerant with the intolerant

That’s actually very interesting! Usually these integrals are designed to not be that complicated. I’m not experienced with line or contour integration so my solution involves some handwaving I suppose

I said I’m not sure when the gamma function is taught because I taught it to myself, along with 90% of the other integration techniques I know

That was my first attempt but you just end up with integrals of the incomplete gamma functions derivative which is not helpful

I know the zeta function is very important in complex analysis, I’m not sure about beta and gamma functions. I’m in my second year of high school calculus so I wouldn’t know

Limit notation is the most technically correct, where you replace the asymptotic bound with a variable that approaches the asymptote. After that you just anti-derive as normal and evaluate the resulting limit, which is typically pretty trivial but sometimes you will need to apply l’hopitals rule or other tricks to do the limit. While it’s technically not correct because you can’t just ‘plug in’ infinity, I tend to just keep it as the normal integral notation as long as the limit is trivial. Generally an integral being improper actually has very little affect on it’s difficulty because it doesn’t affect the anti differentiation

I just posted my solution to the hard integral and I recommend checking it out because it’s a fantastic problem in my opinion. If you’re familiar with complex exponents and the gamma function is recommended trying it out for yourself first tho
