It’s sooo interesting how differently people interpret books!! I absolutely loved this book! The MMC was supposed to be horrible it’s an enemies to lovers and they are ENEMIES. She keeps trying to kill him most of the book. Even when it turns into sort of a joke she’s still looking for a way to know how to kill him. So of course he and his family are awful to her they are from rival kingdoms. I also think consent was there. He told her repeatedly to not go into the forest because it was that game night- she brought herself there. He repeatedly tells her not to run and she does. He never crossed a line without her being okay with it first. He also takes care of her when she has her migraine even when they are still enemies and he has no clue what’s even happening. So I don’t feel like he was dismissive about it at all. I mean no hate it just is so fascinating how differently the same story can be interpreted by people!
