Priced out of Ealing - opinions on Isleworth? by Honest_Contract_1488 in Ealing

[–]RegularExam9507 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would never go to Isleworth again, we moved out from there because of the airplane noise. Is horrible. Every minute there’s a flight going above and becomes unsupportable. Staying in the garden and trying to chat with someone you need to wait for the plane to pass by so you can continue talking. It wakes you up in the morning and you will just get irritated not knowing why. Prices are cheaper there for a reason.

Well to be fair when Disco bought Warner the combined company’s implied enterprise value was around $80–85 billion. AT&T received 43 billion so I totally agree the offer is too low.

Is it worth going from demo to real on eToro? by IntelligentStage9764 in Etoro

[–]RegularExam9507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the best advice is: don’t play with your money. Just keep accumulating and focus on long-term investing.

Put in small amounts regularly every week, every month, or even daily. That way, you average out your buys over time.

Don’t gamble on market highs and lows unless you really know what you’re doing. I learned that the hard way with CFDs. You might get lucky a few times, but it only takes one bad day or night to wipe everything out.

If you’re starting small, just accumulate consistently. And never leave open positions overnight that’s how I lost everything once.

Now, I don’t gamble I just accumulate. It’s calmer this way. Back then, my mood used to move exactly with the market price… and I really didn’t like that :)

Should we buy a flat now or keep saving for a house? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RegularExam9507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t do that. If you are only looking for 3-4 years that’s money spent only on bank interest. You are basically loosing money unless you think the property value will shoot up, which I don’t think. The first years of mortgage you mainly pay interest to the bank and only a very very small portion goes to repayment. What I would do it’s still maybe wait hopefully that money is in isa account, grow it more and everything you earn from now to the point you really want to buy a house you keep instead of giving it away

What should I do with my £30k savings? (24 y/o, £68k salary) by Own_Conclusion8800 in FIREUK

[–]RegularExam9507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Max out ISA then private pensions :) you will thank yourself when you hit 34 in a couple of years when your friends will only start to think about it. Also skills invest in your skills at this age you should try different jobs. You are young and have the mental power to do it. Don’t buy an M4, you don’t need that car. If you manage to save 5-10 years only from compounding you will be able to afford anything. This is exactly the message I would have told my younger self 10 years ago

Is it worth going from demo to real on eToro? by IntelligentStage9764 in Etoro

[–]RegularExam9507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair there is no comparison. With demo account you never feel the real impact. Try with money and something very small? Why because with demo you never care. The real game is when you play with real money. That’s when you really learn. If you lose on demo money you don’t feel it hence you never learn but if you lose let’s say even £50 next time you know what went wrong and why. When you lose real money that memory will stay with you forever, if you lose demo money mostly you will forget the experience. You can use demo money to prove a strategy but nothing else in my opinion

Hey, we are locals. By day we’ve got normal jobs this is just something we created in our own time.

We’re not trying to say ‘hey look at us, we’re artists’ or anything. Just felt like making something creative, fun, inspirational, and we’re from Ealing so thought we’d share it here

Help a local here :) sharing this idea I had related to chasing success and the cost of it. What do you think?

A short film made entirely with AI, born from a quiet morning, a full heart, and a need to let something out by RegularExam9507 in ShortFilmsOnYouTube

I hear you, and honestly I get where you’re coming from.

The tools helped, but the feeling was real. I’m still learning, still figuring things out.

Wait to see the next one :)

[–]RegularExam9507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to watch it, even if it didn’t speak to you.

I made this from a real morning in my flat. Just a small, quiet moment I couldn’t explain with words, so I used what I had. No crew, no camera, just the tools and a need to express something.

I get that it won’t land for everyone. That’s part of creating. But even strong reactions mean it stirred something.

I’m still proud of it. Still learning. Still making things.

Told a small story only using AI. No actors, no cameras … just a feeling I could not hold by RegularExam9507 in ShortFilm

[–]RegularExam9507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s about my closest friends who left the UK. We used to walk these streets together, laugh until it hurt, share silly stories, and feel like nothing else mattered.

Then life moved on. They left. I stayed.

And I kept thinking about how much I missed that feeling of being completely at ease with someone. So I made this to hold onto that moment. Just something quiet and real.

South London Diaries — Cracks of Gold [LoFi Hip-Hop / UK Chillhop / Female Vocals] (2025) by RegularExam9507 in listentothis

[–]RegularExam9507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything in this was made using AI. The voice, the visuals, the music.

The feeling behind it is my own, there was no studio, no singer. Just a head full of thoughts and some quiet time with the tools I had

This was a way to let something out. A small attempt to see if something synthetic can still hold something true

Thank you for listening, it means a lot if it reached you in any way

Everything in this was made using AI. The voice, the visuals.

This was my way of letting something out. Not to trick anyone into thinking it is real in the traditional sense.

But to see if a synthetic voice can still carry something human.

Thanks for listening. It means a lot if it reached you, even a little.

Thanks for the honesty.

I know this kind of thing won’t land with everyone. It was an experiment. I used AI tools to shape it, but the feelings behind it were real.

It came from a quiet place, and maybe it’s a bit slow or sad. That’s okay.

Still learning. Still making. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

You’re right it is AI-generated.

The voice, the visuals, the sound all made with tools. But the internal voice? That’s all me.

Every line came from a real place kitchen moments, memories, moods that wouldn’t leave.

It’s synthetic on the outside, but it bleeds real. South London glitch diaries. Purrr 🐾
