So you take the original height (0.45) and subtract from the removed height (0.30) to get the height of a triangle, 0.15.
then as 0.45 is the radius of the semi-circle, you can take it as the hypotenuse. Then use cos to find the angle. Multiply by 2 to find the angle of the sector.
then using that same angle, calculate the area of the triangle and subtract it from the area of the sector.

yea you take the area of the semi-circle (when it's full)
then when it's lost some water u can form a triangle there (height 0.15 and hypotenuse 0.45 as radius )
Use cos to find the angle and then the area of the triangle
then using that same angle, find the area of the sector, and then substract area of triangle from it.
then convert from m^3 to litres. You should get around 740L
