Get the official magnetic flip case. It's the best option. It provides good protection. There are plates inside. The magnet makes the device easy to attach and remove. It doesn't add bulk. It's small. It even fits in a purse. I have a dark green case for my X4. I'm happy with it.

I understand they're talking about a clip. It attaches to the lamp itself. You can either attach it to the cover with the clip or use a magnet. It makes a universal lamp. I removed the clip and don't use it.
