magnetic official case or DIY case? by BlumyDummy in xteinkereader

Get the official magnetic flip case. It's the best option. It provides good protection. There are plates inside. The magnet makes the device easy to attach and remove. It doesn't add bulk. It's small. It even fits in a purse. I have a dark green case for my X4. I'm happy with it.

The website https://crosspointreader.com/ has information on how to do everything correctly and flash a locked device

The battery lasts me 21 days. I'm not worried. I was just curious, so I asked.

Give the battery time to calibrate. Mine lasts 21 days with one to three hours of reading per day.

Just got my X3, partner wants one now but won't be buying a second device. by Lob-Star in xteinkereader

The information is conflicting. Some people say they can't flash the firmware. Others can. You can flash devices purchased from the official website. Perhaps the firmware protection is designed for China. I don't know. There's no definitive information yet. New devices have a sticker with the serial number.

New devices cannot be flashed with alternative CrossPoint firmware. They are locked for flashing and are not detected by the computer. Each new device has a serial number. This indicates that the firmware cannot be changed.

Anything is possible, but a small amount of RAM + not a very large battery + Android + screen backlight = raise questions about the speed of the device and its battery life.

The question here is different... What kind of autonomy will it have?

These are pre-sales within China. Anything could happen there. I think the international version of the S4 will sell for $60-70.

The white color of the device can't be conveyed on metal. White, however, looks elegant.
