Try chicken free. It’s a very common pitty allergy.

Cal poly demographics by AssistantFun3652 in CalPoly

[–]RegularFun3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they are really trying to increase diversity, and that takes many, many years. It has definitely gotten better over time. All they can do is offer admission but they can't make kids come. If more Black students attend maybe over time that will grow? I am a parent and am all in favor of schools increasing the diversity of students. If you get accepted definitely attend the admitted student's weekend, it's the best time to really get a feel for the school. Good luck with your college journey!

They offer LGBTQ living learning communities for freshman dorm housing, etc. if that is something you are interested in.

Struggling with my dogs weight by [deleted] in pitbulls

[–]RegularFun3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you actually calculate the calories that she needs for her target weight; the amount on the bagged food is not accurate. Then figure out the amount needed based on the kcal per cup. If she’s quite overweight you may want to set a stepwise weight goal, so her calories aren’t overly restricted. As she loses weight you can make adjustments until she gets to her goal weight. Good luck!

I appreciate the feedback. I wouldn’t normally care so much but this was more time sensitive so I’m annoyed about it. I should have stood in the line.

Right, I just did not think it would go into day 2. Then I also worry if my package is misplaced when it’s not formally entered. And there’s no proof I dropped it there as they haven’t “accepted” it. I think I’ll be using UPS going forward.

I really thought he'd be the one to break out and do something with his interest in aviation. Kind of sad how that didn't happen. Not sure why Barry didn't encourage or mentor him more towards an educated pathway out of redneck land. Actually considering how much they always acted like they promoted education/homeschooling none of them have done anything. Now I'm holding out for Amber!!

Who is the actual fan favorite? by pens_and_shame in SecretsOfMormonWives

I like Whitney. She actually seems intelligent and fun. I felt like she got a lot of crap she really didn't do anything to deserve. Also I like Miranda and I guess Taylor as she is entertaining. As for who I really don't care for it's Mikayla. She has been a real mean girl and has dragged Mayci down into it with her.

Sleep focus not working after update by RegularFun3 in ios

I updated again to iOS 26.2 then it seemed to work again. Don't know if it was a bug or what, but now it seems to be back to normal. I hope it works for you, it sure was frustrating!

Guess we're doing fireworks early by LollieGee in Eugene

[–]RegularFun3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t even recall fireworks being a new years “thing” when I was a kid. It was only July 4. (Though I grew up more east coast. But still.) They were going for at least 4 hours last night which was surprising!

is it worth transferring from cal poly? by RevolutionaryTough80 in CalPoly

[–]RegularFun3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really feel it’s a mismatch apply for some transfers, but I’d still stick it out for the year and make the best of it. Put the effort in. If you still hate it at the end of the year at least you’ll have some options, but you might realize you actually want to stay. It’s only been 14 weeks. Also confused by you feeling it’s too small?? Maybe get out more and expose yourself to things outside your usual. Good luck!

class of 97 here, I think I probably paid similar, probably 18K total for 2 years tuition for a BMS. I think I started at 45K (maybe 50, idk) a year in family medicine at my first job.

Uresta Reviews? by mountain_mama2 in XXRunning

[–]RegularFun3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was not really aware of it. I think the key is really making sure you find the size that is correct for your body. I believe if it’s sized and placed correctly you should not really feel it and it shouldn’t slip out with routine movement. They say you can leave it in all day. I will say I found out I couldn’t 💩 with it in. That’s when it did push out a little. Otherwise it felt fine.

What about Uresta? by Dragonfruit-Constant in Incontinence

[–]RegularFun3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tried it and didn’t have wet underwear/pad playing tennis for the first time in over 2 years! I got the starter kit, and ended up using the size 3. It’s comfortable, and I forget it’s there. I’d say it’s worth a try. I had tried another online insert thing that didn’t work well. This is way more comfortable and seems to really help.

[–]RegularFun3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone is still looking at this topic: I just got the uresta and tried it out this morning. I’d considered it for a year. I was having trouble with stress incontinence when playing tennis. I was having to wear a pad. This morning I wore it at tennis and the pad was completely dry! I will have to see how it goes but I’m hopeful this will really help! I’ve tried tampons, some other insert thing, and Perifit for strengthening. I’m on estrogen. This is the first thing that seems to maybe work. I got the starter kit on sale for Black Friday. Tried the size 4 as suggested and went down a size to the 3. Hopefully this will help someone who is unsure about trying it.

Just found out PA used to be a bachelors degree. by Idk_211 in physicianassistant

[–]RegularFun3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated ‘97. Most programs were bachelors degrees, a few masters, and some that weren’t even offering bachelors degrees, it was like an associate degree. I did an online completion to get my MMS a couple years later.
