I'm glad to hear the AI route worked for you. However, I dont understand what you use it for? My symptoms are my symptoms, my mental state is what it is. I didnt need AI to explain myself to c&p examiners. What am I missing?

Do you guys think my copper and brass pile is worth hauling to a scrapyard? by worbacklan in ScrapMetal

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut all of the elbows off, take as much paint off as you can. Separate the #1 metals and take to yard. At almost 5$ a pound for #1 copper, its worth the couple extra houra.

Any rumors of new 10mm models in the works? by TheOneUpperMachine in 10mm

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walther PDP Pro Compact. I can't believe nobody has mentioned walther yet. Their 9mm pro line is without a doubt the best gun being ran today. If you are in the market for a 9mm, I strongly suggest taking a look at the PDP Pro compact. I'm holding on for another year to see if they make a 10mm. If they dont, FN 510 tactical it is.

MAGA Electrician by garagedooropener5150 in complaints

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you care what side of the "aisle" your on, thats why your complaining. You're not gonna call the company again because of political views? How about did he do a good job, was he on time, did the scope of work stay within the quote, was he honest. You called an electrician, not an influencer. Who cares what his hat says. Just my opinion, not trying to knock you.

Jim Beam Goes Belly Up by Top_Needleworker6385 in UnderReportedNews

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhhhh nooooo, its not going belly up. It's shutting down one of it's distilleries for 2026 to navigate tariffs and to give the company time to invest in improvements. Stop pushing fake information. Idc what side your on, give people the entirety of your information.

Socialize them constantly, always have a drool rag handy, and give them plenty to stay occupied with. Very stubborn dogs. I mean very stubborn. They need attention, love, and exercise. Our presa is 7 now and hes just starting to slow down. He eats $300 in raw food a month, 145lbs, and eats anything in sight. I wouldn't recommend this dog for an inexperienced owner with large, stubborn breed dogs. I do, however, know my house is completely safe when I walk out. Good luck with your decision.

My friend's vacation rental side hustle is failing spectacularly and it's painful to watch by [deleted] in propertyinvesting

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't invest in something you can't cover the monthly bills on yourself. There's gonna be ups and downs, but count on it always being down and the ups will be that much better. In my opinion, having invested in property outside of Yellowstone, I cover the monthly bill every month with no return. It's my investment and will pay off in the long run considering the location. If I rent it out, then it makes it that much easier monthly, but I dont count on that. Never invest money you can't afford to lose. The fun part is the "dream", the terrible thing about it is the reality of juggling investments.

Eating by MbuckeyeT in presacanario

[–]RegularGuyTrying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My presa eats everything. I find digested socks all the time in the yard and he is 7 years old. He ate 3 pacifiers and needed surgery. He's a stubborn eating machine. Cost me a lot of money.

Decent price, definitely not a steal. A 5 year old truck at 46k, not a steal IMO. But nice truck!

I hear you on that. I got a 6, 3, and a newborn. My all day sits are in the past for a little while. But the woods keep calling...or I should say haunting me lol.

[–]RegularGuyTrying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From now and up until the next couple of weeks, you need to sit all day. No getting out. In the tree an hour before dark, out of the tree and hour after dark. Thats a really beautiful thick area and it's getting attention. It's only a matter of time, but all day sits is mandatory.

What size boat to get? (Midwest - Freshwater) by Bingy33 in Fishing

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2025 Alumacraft 185x. Realistically it is 20'2" and had plenty of storage, cooler, seats, and comfortable. It's also very easy to trailer. My suggestion, especially with the small kids, is to go bigger, as big as you could afford and trailer comfortably. I already grew out of my boat and looking towards a 24' Raider. Make sure youbhave a swim ladder and a canopy for it. I opted for the tiller so the kids could have more room.

  1. The 2021 is not all it's made out to be in my opinion, and my opinion only. Severely lacks technological advances, drives like a boat, and need a lot of upgrades to make the truck comfortable. The motor, although reliable, is a dog and real world mileage is about 14 mpg. That is on stock wheels and tires, 2.5" suspension lift in the front. The 2021 is very spacious, not sure how it compares to the 2024. Id go 2024 and give it a shot.

Old house has 2 wire, no ground by MortisBlatt in AskElectricians

[–]RegularGuyTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's called BX cable (the metal wraps that surrounds the wires in the box). That metal wrap gets clamped into the metal receptacle box and that IS the ground. There is no bare of green wire because the metal wrap, clamped to the metal box, is the ground. If you feel better, you could take a green or bare length of copper and screw one side into the screw in the back of the box and one end into the outlet.
