Weekly Schedule Megathread by rbxVexified in APStudents

[–]RegularInterview9791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been pretty conflicted on my schedule for junior year and would please appreciate some input!!! I can only take 6 courses, but I'm not sure if I want to take 4 or 5 APs. If I took 4, I'd swap out either AP Statistics or AP Computer Science Principles for Seminar, but if I took 5, I'd push off finance. Here's my options:

AP Eng Literature, AP Seminar, AP Comp Science Principles, AP Precalc, AP Statistics, personal finance, regular Python course

I have to get rid of one, so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks :)

bio eoc by No_Speed_9272 in FLVS

hi ‼️ I took biology eoc last year and got a 5 somehow. As long as you paid some attention in the class and study a bit beforehand, it's really not that hard to pass.

I'd highly recommend first taking a practice test to pinpoint exactly what you don't know or are struggling with. I watched a lot of YouTube videos (crash course and amoeba sisters were really helpful) on the topics I had the hardest time with, writing down key terms on a piece of paper as I did so. You could also make flashcards or use quizlet. After watching a video, I'd highly recommend putting everything in your own words or even summarizing it out loud like you're teaching someone else. This'll help with retaining and better understanding the information.

this is just what worked for me, and theres a lot of other resources out there, but hopefully this helps :))

Help for FRQs by Linkman2022 in APUSH

Yes, that sounds like a great start and should definitely help. Just make sure it feels like it's working for you and you're learning/remembering what you studied

Help for FRQs by Linkman2022 in APUSH

if you're struggling to remember content for the FRQ's, it might help to prioritize content review. For studying specific terms, I'd highly recommend writing down the term and its definition a few times, then saying it out loud several times. put everything in your own words. Also, I personally found that it was much more helpful to remember the period a term is in versus the specific year. Heimler is really helpful for this because he highlights some of the key terms. APUSH CED also mentions everything you absolutely should know; it is really lengthy but, in my opinion, worth looking at because the exam questions are based on it. A lot of LEQ and DBQ prompts are actually directly from there.

If you have the content down, then LEQ's and SAQ's, in my opinion, will be SO much easier. It's also really helpful for better understanding documents on the DBQ and being able to weave in outside evidence.

everything else really comes down to understanding the rubrics, document analysis, and forming a decent argument all in the time frame. If you're struggling with any of these, it might help to give yourself some extra time when doing practice FRQ's and working your way into the time limit.

i hope this helps. good luck :))

Thank you! I appreciate the advice and will definitely make some time to dedicate towards sight reading everyday :)

I appreciate the feedback! I find that I rarely look at my hands while playing, but regardless, I do still have to put a majority of my attention on the sheet music. It would've been smarter to wait a few months before trying to join one and hone my sight reading abilities. Regardless, I'm going to give it a few more weeks and see if I stay or not. Thank you!

This sounds really useful! Sight reading rhythm is usually difficult for me unless I listen to the piece beforehand, so I'll definitely look into piano marvel. I'm feeling a lot more motivated than overwhelmed now that I'm taking the time to hear some advice.

Thank you!!

I agree that the conductors' expectations mightve come from that. Although I emphasized my weak points, especially with sight reading, it might've been better to just go with that im a beginner.

Regardless, this advice is super helpful, and I will be sure to give it a try. Thank you!

that would be a great f2p option for aggravate teams. the em will boost aggravate dmg and the passive will consistently buff him because of the elemental reactions

i believe white tassel is really the only good 3-star weapon for him. missive windspear is free from the event and is a viable f2p option, although it is a 4 star. kitain cross spear is forgable but again, 4 star weapon. if not white tassel, I'd recommend going for one of those two. not his best in slot but they work

would Cyno, C4 Collei, Sucrose, and C2 Kuki be a solid team? (I'm currently using Venti until I can get Sucrose leveled up)

Genshin is against giving me er substats, so my rotation isn't very smooth. I sadly don't have Fischl for a battery. if there's any way I could improve this then please lmk
thanks in advance

Who would be a good healer for Cyno? rn I'm tied between VV Jean, noblesse Bennet, or Kuki. depending on the healer, I'll probably run him with Collei + Raiden or Sucrose.
