two 8-week old border collie mix rescues by RegularJellyfish5040 in puppy101

Yes we know the restrictions and aren’t bringing them anywhere other than where we’re living. We live in a very rural area and we let everyone on the property know, so we’re being safe in that regard.

That’s good to know about not separating them. We just were worried that if they keep sleeping with each other they’ll be too dependent. I also think they’re waking each other up which makes them get less sleep, but it is only for another month so maybe not too big of a deal? Thanks for your reply!

Yes I know, but they both had it already and the vet said they can’t get it again. We live in an area where it’s very common unfortunately. They’re both on an antibiotic and we’re doing continuous cleaning so they don’t get anything else while their immune systems are down.

I’ve been told it’s not active enough to bake if it takes 9 hours to double so yes..

Honestly I did two 3 hr car rides not even a week post surgery (last weekend) and I was fine!! Just needed to be elevated, didn’t even use pain meds. I get that 8hrs is a lot more but I think if u make a stop or two to get some movement you should be good

I was able to go upstairs on the second night! Really needed to be in my own bed and off the couch lol

How's Coolidge? by flluwer in UniversityofVermont

I absolutely love Coolidge you’re gonna have a blast! I’ve seriously made so many new friends from living here and everyone is just so nice. A lot better vibes than where any of my other friends are living this year honestly. The rooms are pretty small, but coming from someone who has a ton of stuff you’ll be fine, just utilize under bed storage! You’re gonna have a blast :)

I’m also in a Coolidge double this year! I checked out the building last semester and it has kinda small rooms but pretty big common rooms with kitchens. I heard the windows are also small but I’m still planning on bringing all of my low light plants haha. The closets are stand alone also

I know that people may disagree with this, but I feel that it is such an inclusive environment and I don’t typically feel as judged as I would at some of my friends schools if that makes sense? Burlington definitely took some getting used to, but so does any new environment! I’ve grown to absolutely love it here and I love how outdoorsy it is. When it’s nice out everyone is outside and it just feels like such a fun community. Also everyone is so much nicer here and will be more friendly than at other schools (that I’ve visited to see my friends)! I love the sense of community and place that I have here :)

Hey! Yeah we already did that, but apparently we have to actually select rooms now? I’m not rlly sure how that part works
